I'd like to see a single statistic that shows any decrease in violent crime after a single piece of gun control legislation. It hasn't happened yet, and even if it had according to federal statistics at https://www.bjs.gov/content/pub/ascii/hvfsdaft.txt there are on average approximately ten-thousand homicides using a firearm per year, and approximately eighty-thousand defensive uses of a firearm per year. This doesn't even take into account the constitutional protection afforded firearm owners in the second amendment.
