If theists could learn to mind their own business then I think they could coexist "in good faith". However, we already know that will never happen.

Edit: Sorry, I just seen the Note on this debate. I'm not part of the class you speak of. I understand if you wish to delete this response.

This was a hard one for me. I own a gun...lol. And I still think people should be allowed to have a gun. Yet, I don't think people really have the "right" to own one. Not according to the Constitution.

"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

Most people are NOT a part of the Militia...lol. Not unless you are in the National Guard. Even if you stretched the meaning to include those that could be drafted into the National Guard during an emergency you still would be cutting out a HUGE chunk of the population. Women would probably be excluded as well as those men under and over a certain age limit.

So, do I think people should be ALLOWED to have guns? Yes.

Do I think everyone has the right... or should be given the right? No.

So far I haven't even seen justification to take him to trial, let alone convict him.

The only witnesses claiming Zim did anything are attention hungry nut jobs like Mary Cutcher. Who btw has admitted she didn't actually see ANY of the incident. Everything she tells is just her assumption of what happened... not what she actually witnessed.

Anyway, the prosecution is going to have to come up with something a LOT better if they want a conviction. So far it just looks like a trial being brought forward for political reasons.

I think it depends on the person. If you are a reasonable person that cares about others then chances are you aren't going to open carry when it is obvious you shouldn't open carry.

Unfortunately, a lot of people seem to open carry JUST so they can bother others and cause problems. They give BS reasons why they do it... it is always clear though they are just 5 year olds that never grew up. They have no business with a gun, let alone open carrying the thing. You take on certain responsibilities when you open carry and they simply aren't mature enough.

So, until those people grow up I have to go with "not really". No offense to all the others that do open carry responsibly.
