A new innovation that I think helped the Canadians secure victory at Vimy Ridge was specialized platoons because in each platoon there was a person with a certain skill which made the platoons flexible. In what every situation the platoons had to accommodate for they could. Platoons also split up your army so you could ultimately cover more ground and take out more threats. If in a situation one platoon had to cover fire and another platoon had to approach they could accommodate or switch what they need to do at any time. Specialized platoons also kept things running smoothly and in an organized manner. Platoons were also made up of a smaller amount of men then an army was so they could get around easier and not be seen as easily. Every soldier in a platoon had a special talent or skill making the platoons unique, this gave every platoon a different strength. A specialized platoon made them self sufficient.
I am probably a good person but I haven't taken the time to fill out my profile, so you'll never know! |
