Ok, so let me just say I generally think that there is no god in the traditional sense. That said, there is some stuff science cannot explain. Scientists are able to trace life all the way back to the formation of the first amino acid chains, however any knowledge beyond that is guesswork. Nobody truly knows how the universe was created, and I think that it is reasonable to assume some higher power was responsible for the 'big bang'. That being said, this does not mean that evolution happened. I would picture god as more of a clockmaker as opposed to an architect. He simply set in motion the process of life as opposed to creating all the forms himself.
