the fact is... no theory can be completely proven. evolution is similar. however it has withstood man y of the challenges posed against it. but again even scientists agree that it is not as accurate as the theories of general relativity or quantum mechanics. i feel that evolution is just the best GUESS we can make with our present technology. maybe later on, it will be improved.

i guess aliens are present cause the drake equation does give a lot of possibility for that. however, interplanetary space travel, that's a totally different matter.

i actually agree @countrygirl because i believe that everything does happen for a reason and if we had no purpose whatsoever here, then why does everyone go on with their so called meaningless lives? because there are things that matter like family, friends and all those people that love you.

why would you say that cartman? i feel that everyone considers life precious, in one way or the other.

Are you saying that humans are hypocritical by nature? Because if you are, i do have to say that a person with terminal cancer would actually consider his/her life so valuable that he would enjoy it the best he/her could. trust me on this, i have known such a person quite intimately.
