You said that they had to separate muslims from fighting each other within the same country and then laughed about it. Sure, Shiites and Sunnis are two different sects that sometimes have battles with each other but how is that any different than the Catholics and the Protestants in Ireland, the US Civil War, etc. Perhaps you need a better understanding of world history before you jump to questionable conclusions.
