The problem with the view is that no one, given a clear choice, would reject god. No one of sound mind would choose hell over heaven. So then, anyone who does not 'accept Jesus' does so because it is not clear to them that he is 'the way the truth and the life'. The fact that the 'one true religion' is not clear to us humans would ultimately be god's fault. If God were real and wanted people to believe a particular theology, he could easily make the choice clear. The very fact that people are almost certainly going to adopt the religion of their parents attests to the lack of clarity in the 'choice'.
