i think the fact that people dont encourage the existence of God is the fear of the unknown, or just the plain fact that they need to be logical about everything. You cant be though. a lot of things in this universe are things you cant explain, and whose to say that there hasnt been any proof of God? Why would he appear to non believers anyway. if you dont put your faith in him then you might as well not even concern yourself with the subject. You have to be be willing to be accepting of him. i had an experience one time with a pastor of my church who was a prophet, and told me about my life without me telling him anything at all. it was the first time ive met him and he had my life right on point. all the people and events that had happened and what path God wanted me to take to become a better person. It was just one of those experiences that you just have that makes you think, now theres no way that God cant be real.

i really believe that there should be a consequence for every bad action so you may learn from it. Depending on how bad the action was the consequence should also be greater, but as far as taking someones life away i don't think that part is right. What human being is that much more superior that they can take the most precious thing to another person, their life. no one but god himself should be able to do that, but then i guess that goes into a whole other argument in whether or not you believe god exist. even still, murder isnt justified by killing off another life though, and also, when we commit sins, we are to repent and be forgiven for those sins to make amends and to start over. god is a forgiving god, of course there will be consequences and possible guilt you will have to live with for the rest of your life, but if the higher power is willing to give another chance then why are we so quick to strip a life away. theres always another way besides murder.

why dont you expand on that, the whole point on the debate is to give your side with detail and facts, maybe even experience, but if you cant do that then your just wasting your time on this page. This could potentially be a sensitive subject to so atleast have a plausible reason instead of just saying he doesnt after all -_-

to kill that one person is murder, anyway you look at it. when you kill that one person the blood and guilt will be on your hands and you will have to live forever thinking about the life you took that wasnt yours to take in the first place. atleast with the 100 lives that were threaten to be taken away, you wouldnt be held responsible for them dying,because you didnt have to take a knife or a gun to their head and they might have their own fighting chance, but who gives you that right to take a life away from someone else?
