Swimming I think is both, but when you say 'sport' it just makes sense. Swimming in the Olympic Games is one of the most important events as well.
I think two-thousand AND ten because it just makes sense when you say it out loud.
If you're always nice, you can't stand up for yourself, therefore making your life miserable. You SHOULD be nice sometimes but not ALL the time.
I don't think guys OR girls should have the right to hit each other. It's okay if they're just messing around and they are both aware, but not okay if they actually want to physically hurt each other. Self-defense is an exception.
Even though nuclear power itself does not release carbon dioxide, when it is being produced in the factory, carbon dioxide is THEN produced, which does cause global warming.
Nuclear power does not release carbon dioxide, which does not increase the problem of GLOBAL WARMING!!
When fossil fuels run out, they will be extremely costly and hard to find. Bio-fuels can always be grown again, so the cost would most probably stay the same. In the future, fossil fuels WILL run out, but you cannot really say bio-fuels will run out.
Often, when people say no offense after a statement, it actually makes me feel more offended! I think it's most important to think about what you say before it comes out of your mouth, and the most important to try not to hurt others' feelings- how would you feel if you were them?
Bio-fuels are great, because of the following reasons:
1. They come from crops which can be reproduced, so bio-fuels are considered sustainable. Unlike fossil fuels and natural gases, we don't need to be afraid of running out of bio-fuels.
2. One day, we will be very close to running out of fossil fuels, which means they will get very expensive, while bio-fuels stay the same price, because we can always create bio-fuel when we need to.
Just a tiny mistake in nuclear power plants can cause huge accidents. For example, the Chernobyl accident was caused by careless mistakes from the workers. The accident created 500 times more radioactivity than the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima during World War II.
