I agree that Social Darwinism is survival of the fittest. The weak die off and the strong survive. While Darwinism is a set of movements and concepts that have to do with evolution. But there is more to wright, for example a few similarities such as Making babies of one race to make them stronger and stronger at what there parents did.

I agree Darwin helped contribute to eugenics because both of the ideas had to do with changes to the environment.

I agree with Andrew that Darwin was thinking that if someone looked different then him then they were not the same species as him.

Simliarities between Darwinism and Social Darwinism is Making babies of one race to make them stronger and stronger at what there parents did. A difference is that Social Darwinism is a belief that the strongest would survive and flourish in society. Social Darwinism was the applicant of Charles Darwinism scientific theories of evolution and natural selection.

I agree that Darwin had a theory of the strongest being able to survive. This leads to eugenics because if the strongest survive then they will live on, afterall eugenics is the study to improve a species. Darwin contributed to eugenics is his theory of geographic isolation. If a town controls one area, they get resources and things they need in that area to survive.

When Darwin saw black slaves, he did not like the fact that they were being tortured and treated badly, but did think why they were black. Darwin believed that if someone looked different than the people he was use to seeing, then they weren't human. He also believed that since they were black, they were closely related to monkeys. During the time of slavery, people were influenced by Darwin's theory which is why they believed that black people were different from white people so they were treated bad. It Darwin's concepts that had an influence on society's perceptions. Darwin influenced the world with evolution, also black people influenced Darwin to think up the theory of evolution.
