Ephesians 2:8-9 "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast."
I don't know what Bible you are looking at, but mine clearly states that we are not saved, or get to Heaven by the works we do. We are saved by putting our faith and trust in Him as our personal Lord and Savior.
Vegetarianism is by far a healthier way of life. You do not need meat in order to be healthy. Two arguments that are always used against vegetarianism is getting enough protein in your diet, and B12.
There are many great sources to get protein from other than meat. Nuts, beans, quinoa, etc. are great sources for protein.
B12 is easy to get as well. The normal human only requires 4 mcg of B12 per day. You can get this from a bowl of cherrios in the morning.
I am probably a good person but I haven't taken the time to fill out my profile, so you'll never know! |
