Firstly, you're missing a comma aswell...and secondly, you first say that they don't perform better, but then you say they do but that's because public schools are more social? Make your mind up.
Yeh there's 200-300 in COLLEGE not school! College is a different type of teaching so you can't compare it with a classroom. and 30 is big I have experienced both 30 pupil classes and 20 pupil classes and you would be suprised at the difference it makes.
You say that exposure to unacceptable lifestyles is the real world but they're just kids and don't need that pressure! And you say you know for a fact that having parents that shelter you makes you rebel however my parents sheltered me and it just made me realise how much they loved me and I certainly didn't 'rebel' and neither did any of my friends.
Limited learning to access materials is a problem in public schools, i have experienced it. You think that if there's limited access to reading books there's going to be an abundance of computers? I don't think so...
I have to be fair and say that my private school actually has much longer holidays but thats only because we work harder during term time.
The public school system doesn't set you up for life. You social skills will be worth nothing when your working at mcdonalds.
These are all rubbish. I am 14 and have attended both a public and private school.
I have a 50% scholarship so cost is not a problem if you try hard and most of my friends have 10-15% scholarships anyway. Also at public school we were having to donate money and pay extra so that other children in my year could attend and come on trips so we actually ended up paying quite a bit.
All of my teachers are highly qualified so I don't know where you got that idea.
There is a huge choice of subjects including things like woodshop however at my public school you HAD to take a design and technology gcse which actually narrows your choices at public school.
An entrance exam just maintains a high quality of students and so long as you're not an idiot I can't see an entrance exam being a problem although I would like to point out that I had to pass an entrance exam to get into the public school anyway so...
My school is certainly not religious in anyway and I only know of one private school that is.
So you should learn more about the subject before you decide to assume you know all.
stop being such a pathetic loser. This site is for expressing views not trying to be clever by downvoting people. by the way i downvoted you because you annoy me:) and before you say that im being pathetic, i don't care because I'm only 14.
learn to spell before you start telling other people what to do.
They didn't say it just meant excercise they said it was about excercise AND what you eat so I think your the one talking sh*t here.
Do I need to point out that millions of humans have lived long happy lives eating meat? this is a pointless argument! Just as many vegetarians die every year from malnutrition as meat eaters do from weight gain or disease.
I am probably a good person but I haven't taken the time to fill out my profile, so you'll never know! |
