There are so many people in the world who would love to 'need money' like the US. To buy a new car or TV. According to UNICEF, about 9.7 million children died in 2006 before their fifth birthday, 4/5 of those deaths occurring in sub-Saharan Africa and Southeast Asia. Each child has the right to live. What is more important developing consumer goods or a child's life.

International Monetary Fund statistics as of April 2009 show that US is the richest country in the world.

In Third World countries like Zambia, Niger and Nicaragua, the Government spends much more on debt service payments than on education and health.Tanzania spends four times more on debt relief than on educational measures.

Zambia's copper was taken by colonists.

Niger had a famine in 2010

Zanzibar was the capital of the Arab slave trade.

The developed world has a duty to cancel debts and to give aid to the poorest nations. Each human is equal and deserves food water shelter healthcare and an education. People in the developed countries take these things for granted but it is only a matter of chance that the country we live in is affluent. History could have taken a different turn.
