I think Shakespeare should be taught because his works have depth and help cultivate critical thinking skills (the content of the plays can encourage that). Every time you read his plays, you always get something different out of them, which can't be said for a lot of modern television shows and movies which are becoming more and more predictable and stale.

You cannot assume that since some men might be "selfish pigs" that all men are. That is simply fallacious on the face of it. But if women find their man to be such a "selfish pig," the most logical thing to do is to date someone else. Women seriously expect that they can change their man to their liking, but that will simply never happen. And, on top of all that, it must remembered that EVERYONE has flaws-regardless of their sex.

I'd say that "too young" would be below the age when people fully develop their reasoning capacity. In order to choose between a good or bad action, one must possess such a capacity. The age will be different for different people, but I would put the beginnings of the "age of reason" somewhere around 12 years old.
