Also, some people release the exotic animals after the overwhelming effect of trying to keep the animals. If the animal survives, it could become an invasive species. Florida is being taken over by invasive species and this is allowing native species to become extinct or pushed out of their habitat. The start of the invasive species was the release of exotic pets. https://www.nature.org/ourinitiatives/regions/northamerica/unitedstates/florida/howwework/combating-invasive-species-in-florida.xml

People should not be able to keep exotic animals as pets. Exotic animals require special diets, maintenance, care, and housing. Usually, the average person can not suffice the care needed of the animals. This causes safety and health risks to the animals. Also, the animals can cause safety risks to their owner. As a wild animal, they will continue to have wild instincts that may cause them to "attack". http://www.bornfreeusa.org/facts.php?p=187&more;=1

Although animal testing has contributed to the medications we have today, some animal experimentation's do not help in the study of the medications. In some cases, the model of the animal disease differs from the model of human diseases. Because of this, the effects of the medication on the animal differ from that of the effects on the humans. In some cases, the drug could cause no harm to the animal but it does cause harm to humans. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4594046/ In this article, it talks about the issues with successful translation to humans of data from animal experimentation.
