Oh yeah! Twilight is better simply because it not only is about scary vampires and wolves, but is also centered around love which pulls at every readers heart strings and makes every reader feel for Bella and Edward. Harry Potter however, is just a silly fan fiction about wizards and muggles, and I can argue this because I have read the first book. It's not bad, but I wasn't necessarily dying to find out what happened next, so I didn't read the next one, because I didn't care for what would happen next in the series. Twilight is better.

No, in some ways it enhances it by teaching them how to draw, how to write stories, it teaches them how to play music. Although a large amount of school is mostly logic, students learn a big deal of creative things too. In English most schools make it so that they have to read a novel or two together as a class and then reflect and create interesting projects about them.
