Some students, although in the same grade level, are in way different mind sets than others their same age. It's only fair for children to be put where they believe is right for them. Not everybody is at the same spot and that's perfectly fine as long as they're learning.
Students should be able to use their personal devices in school. Why waste all this money on school iPad's and laptops when students have their own at home? It's ridiculous making students put their phones away when there are so many helpful features made for this stuff. Notes, taking pictures of assignments, special apps. Students would need to be held responsible for their actions if they are caught doing something else on them, but if they are respectful and mature enough to only use their devices for school work when appropriate then it is a fantastic idea.
I think people should respond in small ways that could make a big difference in the long run. It doesn't take much and it shouldn't be frowned upon to care about the environment and try riding a bike instead of driving a car, donating money, or helping people out that live in different areas. People shouldn't criticize others for caring enough about something to try making a difference.
I am probably a good person but I haven't taken the time to fill out my profile, so you'll never know! |
