My point exactly. Thre is nothing that can be done to stop terrorism only a change in foreign policy or whatever else their pissed off about. But they've cleverly reallocated the finance to support another casue. In this case money earmarked for catching alleged terrorists is being swindled to beef up anti drugs squads. Your no safer becasue the terrorists are getting away (unless they were state sponsored in the first place) and their looking to catch drug dealers instead.

No terrorist has been caught and they've laid most of the profiling staff off at the airport after three years of catching no one - don't get sidetracked.

Islam is not a religion in cIslam is not just a religion in the Christian sense of the word, it’s a system of self governance. It holds each individual responsible for their own actions. There is no “The Mosque” as there is in Christianity the centralized institution “The Church”

Jews believe themselves to be Gods chosen race, Christians believe themselves to be Gods children and Muslims consider themselves to be Gods slaves. 95% of the populace before 9/11 could not even care less that Muslims have been living alongside them without a complaint for years. Now that the Western economic system has collapsed, as it did during the crusades, Muslims countries have become the place to pillage for resources and the means to extract them has also decreased. Religion is providing the cover story as it did back then.

Nothing said or “revealed” about Islam has any basis in fact and most has been dismissed or disproved but the mob mentality means people don’t listen to answers and are supportive of what they see as action against an enemy out of sight. The democratic system is destroying it’s own civil rights and liberties just as it did during Nazi Germany were the Jews where blamed for everything and all rights were taken away from the populace “to tighten security.” Not a single measure today is aimed at Muslims only but the populace as a whole, it’s important to remember that, so you can’t blame religion for that.

As for the rest. People don’t like being insulted and when you’ve just had a drone missile hit your village and kill your whole family because someone was allegedly fighting for the wrong team your not going to be happy are you? It’s this fight fire with fire attitude that is causing a lot of the friction not religion. During my visit there a lot of the people were taking up arms not because of religion but for lost friends and family and the belief that “if they thought I was a terrorist before their actions have just made me one now”.

Islam always was and will be a system. There is no word for holy war in Islam the closest is Jung ul muqada which you will not find in any scriptures or religious text. The concept of total war is alien in Islam as it’s a missionary religion and the only one not spread by the sword. In the Quran it says categorically “La Iqrah fid-Deen” (There is no compulsion in religion) (Surah Al-Baqara, Ayat 256) So any talk of a secret take over or psychological warfare is down to reading too much Dan Brown and secret societies novels.

Neither. it's politics that creates wars. Every war ever fought has been over kingdom or resources. It's well paid historians who want to rewrite history to fit their views that lead to the current crop of "history rewriters." If you look at current wars like Afghanistan and Iraq and compare them to something like the crusades. Their very similar not only in attacking Muslims in their countries but that the invaders countries have excessive needs and the country their attacking has the resources.

The crusades were fought because the Church and the Kingdoms were not making enough money, but to get cheap soldiers fighting used the religion excuse so they could pay them less as “God would repay them 100 fold” if they fought on the kings (so the churches) side.

Nowadays, most weapons and soldiers are from Christian countries so it pretty obvious that if they weren’t so willing to make money by selling guns to the highest bidders, criminals and terrorists would not be so well armed.

What God or Dawkins has to say on the subject is lost to these people but they won’t hesitate to hide behind the religion or freedom or speech excuse when it suits them. The Arabs call these people “Mushriks” and there is no equivalent word in English but it’s sort of like turncoats who will fight for the winning side as long as it’s profitable and advantageous to them but will not allow the total extermination of the other side in case they need to switch back over to them. Nasty people in other words.

Is it religion that creates wars or bad people who are blinded by religion?

I get upset by people saying that Christianity causes wars,

But really, I believe it is the people who belive God

wants them to fight WHEN HE DOES NOT!!!!!

I want to see what other people belive about the subject.

Depends on your definition of moderate. What people really means when they say moderate is “fits in with current times” which is not the purpose of religion at all – do not lie, cheat, steal, kill never gets old. You don’t choose to break the speed limit today because you felt like it, you obey the law or use the given system to have it changed, people with grudges against religions are usually the type of people with inflated self worth or were abused so feel they must strike back at the faith rather than the person.

Most people do not know how to stand up for their religion or themselves so to deflect some of the heat they choose to blame the extremists.

Democracy allows for slavery and advocates violence. The very first democracy was the Athenians who put their women in burkas, did not allow them to vote made them property of their husband and it was permissible to hit her instead of the man. Democracy also funds itself by selling mercenaries and weapons to other faction usually opposing ones -not much has changed today. Women are exploited and abused by men, soldiers fight in foreign wars for promise of cheaper resources for their economies and weapons are sold to anyone willing to match the price.

In fact it’s the most violent and manipulative system of government there is but because it allows free reign to people with money no one wants to close the system down until they have “had a shot at the top,”

Religion is the cornerstone of every civilization known and unknown, no time exists that religions have not fashioned it’s cultures, laws and policies. People struggle with it’s concepts because they cannot take the time to read through the whole of the material to get the picture and like a new gadget want it working now without them putting in any effort.

Lastly religion is honest about human nature - politics and social theory isn’t. You can be as nice as you like to Charlie Manson he’s not going to become a productive member of society. In any religion a man who lies, cheats and steals cannot be considered for any post – in a democracy they elect them to the senate.

Nope, it's "according to" only. The originals (if they were even written as Jesus never wrote a word) are long gone. Though some say the vatican hold fragments but becasue they differ so much from modern teachings it exposes the faith as a human creation.

A Mac is 97% a PC. Think of it as a fancy PC that you got ripped off for.

Neither is better as without a human teacher and some decent advice your not going to learn anything. Technically books are more able as you need no power to read them and most are supervised works. A computer allows any idiot to post anything and call it fact. Plus computers have quite a bit of problems on their own. virii, crashes, etc.

Depends what you mean by "best" if it's most efficient then it's bioethanol. If you mean cheapest them it's solar. If you mean easiest then it's Wind turbines and if you mean best potential then it's ocean tides.
