NOOOOOOOO that is scary. Scottish or not this is 2009 it's a little to weird for me to feel comfortable around a guy that wears a skirt, weird. Unless I'm in their country on their turf i guess alright then it's their custom, even though they like their ball-sacks hanging out and all, very creepy custom if you ask me.
i went straight to their website and the first thing that appears is the budget deficit. For one fiscal year. Bush was bad really bad at 3.1 billion in 2008 but look at Obama 9.9 billion more than 3 times. The website is pretty cool you have to understand charts and some basic accounting. One of the interesting things that popped out to me was the projected deficit increase in billions. It a pretty heavy website. Some other things showind us adding more than 425 billion more to the already high deficit there is just no balancing in sight.
CBO estimates that the combination of provisions included in the amendment would reduce average private health insurance premiums per enrollee in the United States relative to what they would be under current law. The average reductions would be larger in the markets for small group and individually purchased policies,
Where did you pull this from? Because that is not what they said i just heard there report and it was the complete apposite. I want to ask because I don't know but did they leave in the plan that if business keeps their private health insurance that they will have to pay an 8% penalty for not going to the government plan. I know that is was in the beginning?
The actual polls just last week Rasmussen polls show only 45% versus 52% appose. I just got that of the Rasmussen which is considered by most the most accurate. I don't know what poll you got 72% from? I think that the one may be skewed.
Someone needs to actually go the the CBO or CBC and pull what they said and what numbers they are giving back. that will add some smoke to the gun if what above is true.
Forget about it you can show them numbers and data and facts all day long and try to be as unbiased as possible even offer them information from the CBO which is inplace by goverment to give unbiased real information on cost of things, economic conditions and they still rebuff it. I hope I'm wrong about things the numbers don't lie and the math involved with common sense shows that. sometimes I feel I'm just waisting my time. The real test will be next year 2010 things have to get better and they can't blame Bush for it either. People forget that 1993 when clinton passed this bill. This is the real reason for the meltdown here is the link from It was becuase of goverment tyring to help make laws so that poor people can get housing that started it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/
You are correct with that they do expect us to see more pain ahead how much more I don't know. But when you are talking about a huge budget, increase with more taxes during a time when people and employer's are struggling to make it, it leaves no incentive to hire. i attend a monthly business group here in Charlotte NC with different companies and they all say the same thing there is a big issue with uncertainty and confidence is low. The biggest concerns lie with new legislation that will require more capital from companies in time when capital is needed.
No not the ones Obama was getting his information from I would like to know the names of those economist that told him his Stimulus was passed that unemployment would stop at 8.5%. There where many that where seeing a recession in late Oct 07 and myself included. Being in real estate I had a good feeling that there was going to be a bust and i even made my sellers take some offers then that they thought where low but now that look back and see how far down they would have been they are thankful, they would have lost even more. Peter Schiff was one out of many that saw this coming. I Even was selling stock short before the crash on Oct 08 and made out pretty well. I'm not an economist but I have a degree in it and numbers to me make sense I understand what is happening and I can predict with good accuracy of what will lie ahead. If in the next year unemployment the national average gets below 9.5% or lower that would be huge for Obama. I hope for everyones sake that it does.
Well I'll give that one to you on some of your points. It's too early yet for Obama definitely after 4 years the scorecard will have more clarity. I really hope that for all of us that the economy and unemployment does get better, right now it's pretty shitty one of the worse in history with no real growth insight. Bush did a lot of things that made me want to kick his ass with his spending and delegating the banks letting them have a 1 to 30 ratio for borrowing and sometimes even higher. Clinton has part of the blame because of the 1993 he allowed and passed a bill that allowed banks not only to be banks but also investment firms under the same roof which was a fear bank then by economist because banks and lending institutions have a fractional reserve banking rule. For every actual $1 dollar I have I can lend you 30$ with all of the bad loans the banks or at least the ones that failed went above that ration line therefore they are done the ones that got kinda close to got bailout money to help add money to keep that ratio below. That is the Lehman explanation it gets more complicated but it would take a book to explain it further. The fire was already going for the meltdown but Bush threw the gas can on it.
The main reason I'm even say that I'm a conserative is my ideology of fiscal responsibility. Obama breaking the record on spending. GW not really a true Conservative in the matters of budget. kind of shattered that reputation for the Republicans. My main guy that I listen to and he is a genius on money is Ron Paul. I don't believe in all of his policies but when it comes to money and the economy he's the shit.
oh yeah stick to the debate. You can't make laws against teens near the same age that want to have sex. Anybody every read the book or see the movie 1984?
Thanks, I'll return the favor. About your urge to strangle some people, I agree. But as a Christian I understand what is going on and it breaks my heart. That's what motivates me. The Apostle Paul best express this to his protege Timothy in his letter to him.
2 Timothy 2:25
in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth,
well..., like the old man used to say, "The main thing is not to get excited." ;)
Hey, I see your hostiles. You have one. Maybe hostile means people that don't like you and enemies means people you don't like.
thats good to know.
Man nobody has any respect for freedom anymore.
Especially sexual freedom.
wow your a christian conservative but you believe that teens have the right to have sex with each other.
usually conservatives want the government to control everything.
No, It's not my web site. I just treat it like it is ;)
As far as Sparsley just create a debate about him and invite him. He may not be able to resist the temptation to post something on his behalf.
