Its not the clothes who make you who you are but you're backround. For example, a person who just got out from jail could have a nice clean haircut, a nice suit, and a nice cologne. As soon as the employee is about to hire him, he/she would look at the resume and immediately think "NO."
There are other things that make a student excluded. Such as racism, and culture. Clothes don't really help.
If you're attitiude is like that you don't deserve to go to school in the first place.
There are people with self conscious problems. Like girls and boys alike. You can't judge them.
A school is an institution for education, not a fashion house.
Though its not a fashion house, humans have opinions in what they like and don't like.
Seriously? Clothes aren't a big deal. The social economy is what matters. The clothing are just what tips the scale on your social "level". For example, if a poor kid wears a uniform, he is still identified as the poor kid. The jock wearing a uniform, he is still the jock. What changes the pupil is the pupil and the environment. Not the clothes. Also, it won't be equal. If its about bullying you're "worried" about, its not the clothing or whatnot its the race and sadly the culture that the pupil is from. Although students to go learn at school, they're not sitting there in the class 24/7 learning about subjects. They talk too.
If the child is not so fortunate, he/she won't be able to afford the uniform anyways. You're basing your argument on horrible schools. Not all schools are a competition or some kind of stereotypical high school. There are nice communities and schools, mind you.
But it's not like they've never been wearing any clothing in their past life. They still have clothes. Why waste money again if you still have clothing that are useful. Also, students GROW. BOOM.
Psychologists also say that clothes don't really matter. Who you are is who you are. Clothing are only part of what the student is. The rest is (sadly) race, looks, and personality.
I am probably a good person but I haven't taken the time to fill out my profile, so you'll never know! |
