Money buys happiness. Not lasting happiness, transient happiness; a cold happiness which melts away after a wile. It's a sad happiness. If one were to get a new computer and feel the jittery ecstatic feeling when one gets something new, one probably wouldn't feel very ecstatic when turning it on only to type an essay for school, or write a memo for work. And if money buys happiness that lasts the in essence that computer should make you happy enough that you don't need to buy another computer, or anything else for that matter until it breaks.
So are you saying that we should blindly believe in something with no evidence towards its existence, and just thinking about it somehow makes someone a higher self?
Also, I'm just wondering, who is this "someone" you refer to in the first sentence?
If god created everything why do people get sick, why are there wars? Why do people die horrible deaths. If there was a god wouldn't that be stopped?
I am probably a good person but I haven't taken the time to fill out my profile, so you'll never know! |
