Social Darwinism is basically survival of the fittest. Where the weak die off and the strongest survive. While Darwinism is a set of movements and concepts that have to do with evolution. Charles Darwin is the founder of Darwinism.

I do believe that Darwin helped contribute to eugenics because both of the ideas had to do with changes to the environment. The two ideas fit perfectly together because eugenics can change based on your environment and Darwin's theory is that people change based on their environment and and the traits are passed down. This is Evolution.

Dariwn was alive in the 1800s. During this time, the slave change was going on. Darwin was always amazed with colored people. He believed they weren't human and that they are closer to apes. This caused them to be treated unfairly.
