IE is a malware magnet since it doesn't have security measures to indicate you are installing a new toolbar or Browser Helper Object. Not to mention it is by far the slowest browser on the market (including IE8 Beta).

I have switched to Firefox completely and don't use IE at all whatsoever unless I absolutely have to (and unfortunately there are still 1 or 2 websites out there that aren't cross-browser friendly due to bad developers).

Google Chrome is faster than Firefox, but I simply hate not having a dropdown list to visit my recent websites. That's the dealbreaker for me.

Considering saving "the world" probably includes saving yourself, yes.

I don't smoke it, nor do I want to smoke it (even if it were legal). But this only makes sense for the economy.

And yes, there should be regulations much like there is of alcohol (age limit, don't smoke and drive, etc).

I tend to think that the answer relies on the person's outlook on life. For example, one that states it is half-full tends to have a positive outlook on life, and half-empty, vice versa.

Windows Vista is to Windows XP as Windows ME was to Windows 98. Why try to fix something that isn't broken?

Although I personally don't believe in a heaven, out of generosity I would tell the child there was a heaven and that everything would be OK. It's pretty morbid and disrespectful in my opinion to tell a dying child there's nothing to look forward to. It's an easy fallback to use the Heaven story, so I figure why not?
