I think traditional retail in the sense of one person interacting with another one at the same location will never die out. There are just some products you do not want to order online because you need a highly trusted retailer or you want more information about the product from an expert (which is what traditional retail is supposed to deliver).

Generally, I would say attractive images are enough to promote a fashion brand, but if this particular brand has a bigger brand story it can be more effectively to communicate this with more tools.

I think euthanasia should be a last resort in extreme situations, such as in Bucharest, where stray dogs are a huge problem and also pose a threat to the population. It should not be chosen because it is an easier and faster solution than more evolved animal welfare programs.

client's the differences between budget and quality fitness centers depends on what the client wants. For me, a quality fitness center needs to have clean areas and equipment in proper condition. If the budget fitness center is saving on these requirements than I am willing to pay more to have those.

In the end, it depends on the clients´ wishes. Nevertheless, in my personal experience the only difference I have found between budget and quality fitness centers are that the latter offer more services and a more posh interior, both of which I do not need.

I think they are giving us the opportunity to make us smarter, such as comparing prices online while standing in a shop or checking your position on a map when you are lost on your day trip to a new city.

Nevertheless, they also give us the opportunity to have a lexicon, a dictionary and similar online knowledge always at hand. And I think this is why smartphones are actually not making us smarter. It just does not seem necessary to learn anything anymore because theoretically everything could be looked up in a few seconds.

It is quite difficult because if the designer chooses only one path he also might create an undesirable user experience: too much focus on user needs and the brand/organization is not represented; too much much focus on brand recognition and the interface might be a nightmare for users to navigate. As with all things in life, the designer has to find the right balance between those two directions. Nevertheless, I think in the end it is more important for users to have a positive experience and build positive associations when browsing an interface. Therefore, if the designer has to put more weight on one direction it should be user needs.

Very difficult. I think the right for privacy of one person should be rated very highly but I also think that the right for security should be rated even higher. The problem is to find the right balance between violating one´s privacy and protecting him/her without abusing it for other reasons than for this person´s security. So I agree that the state should be given an opportunity to protect its citizens, as long as the processes are checked by neutral institutions and it is happening transparently so the citizens know what the state is doing.

I think esports can be easily compared to traditional sports. Even though it might not seem as difficult as conventional sports on the surface, it can be physically and mentally very demanding and requires talent, discipline and training to compete on a high level (like traditional sports). I also think that esports is more accessible, everybody has the opportunity to join in whereas with most conventional sports one has to start at an early age to be successful on higher levels.

That is also why I prefer to watch esports events: I can easier relate to what is happening and how demanding it is for the players. I do not have the same connection to most conventional sports. I envy South Koreans because they have such a broad offer in their mainstream media landscape and esports is much more accepted there than in most European countries, where gaming is still seen as a stigma sometimes.

I think there is a future for print media, just not as print media. All of these microblogs and other user-generated media channels are mostly created by people who like to write about something and who voice their opinion. They are not backed up with the resources that traditional print media currently has at its disposal. Print media is also an institution (at least in some countries) of credibility and trustworthiness that microblogs just cannot gain quickly enough compete.

I really would like to see a successful change of traditional print media towards digital media (such as the NYT manages, or Huffington).
