Honestly, in the world as a whole, i do not think chivalry is alive. Although, in very few individuals, chivalry is very well alive. It takes the person that you have been raised to be and have become to be chivalrous. Society does not necessarily promote chivalry, especially with the media promoting the very opposite of chivalry. Something as simple as opening a car door for a woman or pulling out a chair is something that you should do on your own and not have to be told. Chivalry is alive inside oneself and it takes that person to display their chivalrous ways.
