Not only the ceremony, but the social connotations that it implies. the contract should be between you and your loved one, not between you and your love one with the goverment approval .What if you decide to have kids out of marriage, and then your kids from your marriage are more important that the kids are not. Maybe you feel that way too, but the government an it's laws shouldn't be in that obscure side.
Yes,I believe we should take the marriage, form government hands let's just keep it for church as a private ceremony if someone wants it that way, but, he law shouldn't make any difference between , a married couple, or any other couple. For example, two people who plan to live together, shouldn't have to pay more for rental application or when a man have kids with a woman that he didn't marry and have married one later, if the man died the wife, without kids takes everything and the kids got nothing, just because they are not wedlock product. That awful and unfair.Nobody, should be force to sign a paper just to be a legal couple and milk benefits, out of it.Love has nothing to do with papers and possessions, just because you love someone you have to give them, what you've earned automatically because you are marry.
I agree. We can solve so many problems beginning with the gay community. If all human beings were equal to the eyes of the law it won't be a problem with the non heterosexual community . Gays want to be equal , and that's appear the obvious solution. Heteros marriage by the church and gays and every one, should be subject to civil unions without being an obstacle for egalitarian benefits for every one.
I am probably a good person but I haven't taken the time to fill out my profile, so you'll never know! |
