All of you are missing the point, from both sides. LOOK AT THE EVIDENCE ! Christ is the ultimate evidence of God. Christ left us with an overwhelming amount of evidence of his existence. The many written accounts are just one example validating his existence. Tens of thousands of original ancient manuscripts of Christ have been discover. If we believe in other great men of history based only on a handful of manuscripts, then we would also have to believe in Christ the same way. When we believe in historical figures such as Columbus, Lincoln, Caesar, Aristotle, Napoleon and Alexander the great and so on, none of us were there to see them. Our belief is based only on the written accounts of eyewitnesses. We firmly believe that these famous men did indeed exist even though we didn’t see them. If we wanted to know what these men were like we would have to study the written testimonies and make a judgment. If we really want to know who Jesus was we also must look at the written testimonies. If we reject the many written accounts of eyewitnesses who saw Christ then we would also have to rule out the testimonies of other great men. If we set aside the testimonies of Jesus Christ as God and at the same time we believe in Julius Caesar as king then we are prejudice against God.

Christ is the only man in history who claimed to be God. No other world religious leader, such as Buddha, Confucius, or Mohammed ever made this claim or ever made a claim as God. Christ is the only one. Not only did Christ clam to be God, but he also was the only person who rose from the dead. Islam, Muslims and other great religions have no such leader that even comes close to the level of Jesus. When Christ claimed to be God, his claim must either be true of false. Either he was a liar or the truth. He either must be God or something else. If we say that Christ is not God then we are automatically affirming that he is a liar. He did not leave us with any other option. If he is the central figure of the human race, then how in the world can you call him a liar, or a revolutionary, crazy, nuts, insane, or just a mere prophet, or a great teacher. He had to me more than that. You can call him anything you like, but no matter what label you put on him, please look up the definition and see if it applies to this man. If we label him as a lunatic then why didn’t they laugh at him and admitted him in a nut house. You would think that a man who had no education, no power, and no loyalty of wealth or ascendants of great kings can make such an impact on the world. Did we make him up, did we create him in our minds, and is he imaginary. Not only are there thousands of manuscript about this man there are countless of other secular writings describing this man at that time. He did exist! And if you believe that...... then he was more that a man. That is how we know God exist. Jesus is not imaginary.
