I agree with Nissan. The fittest ones survive during Social Darwinism, so the ones that don't survive either dies or fades away. Darwinism deals with evolution. Darwinism influenced Social Darwinism. Darwinism is caused by the changed over time. and the animals react to the environment to fit with it. Social Darwinism is like the best one survives.

There similarities and differences between Darwinism and Social Darwinism. Darwinism is the theory of the evolution of species by natural selection advanced by Charles Darwin. Social Darwinism is the theory that individuals, groups, and peoples are subjected to the same Darwinian laws of natural selection as plants and animals. Darwinism and Social Darwinism are similar to each other because they both come from natural selection. Darwin came up with both of these ideas. Different species can come together to produce evolution. The difference is that Social Darwinism comes from Darwinism. They are both the survivals of the fittest.

I agree with Nathan. Eugenics is influenced by evolution. The fittest is going to fit into the environment. Artificial selection and natural selection was part of Darwin's theory. Artificial selection determines the one that fits by humans, who make the decision like farmers, scientists, slave owners, and dictators. There's also the fittest one in both cases. Genetic information is passed from both either the environment or eugenics.

I agree that Darwin's concepts contributed to eugenics. Eugenics is the study of hereditary improvement of the human race by controlled selective breeding. Evolution is a generation-to-generation change in the proportion of different inherited genes in a population that accounts for all of the changes that have transformed life over an immense time. Darwin stated that there was evolution, fossil evidence, similarities in structure, and similarities in the development. Eugenics and evolution could change over time because of the environment and the family's gene. Darwin had a statement about natural selection. Natural selection is where natures decides who is the best fit to pass on genetic information to the offspring. Eugenics could be passed hereditary and so can evolution, They are both changed over time. Darwin's theory led to the idea of eugenics.

I agree with Noel. There was slavery in America and Europe. Darwin saw that the slaves were treated like animals, but he didn't believe that they should be treated the way they were treated. It's also true that Darwin was against slavery. People believed that they looked like apes, but they didn't look like apes. Those people influenced Darwin in many ways. Lamarack did state that things changed over time in order for it to be the best fit in the environment. But, Lamarack's theory was all wrong. Lyell stated that earth changed over time. Malthus was also another influence. The people influenced his theory and his ideas. There was also Industrial Revolution during this time.

During this time in Europe and America, there was slavery everywhere because of racism of other ethnicities. There was also Industrial Revolution happening. On Darwin's ship, there were colored men, who were treated differently than white men. Darwin thought that it wasn't fair to treat some race a way and another race another way. During that time, Jean Baptiste proposed that life evolved, and this idea led to Darwin thought. Darwin observed that the species on the island, were different than the one on different lands. People who involved Darwin, were James Hutton, Charles Lyell, Jean Baptiste Lamarack, and Thomas Malthus. James Hutton influenced Darwin by the variation, adaptation to the environment, and it caused to split apart. Charles Lyell influenced Darwin, by the book he wrote called, "Principals of Geology". The book stated how the slaves were treated like animals. From that, Darwin stated that change took millions of years, and he was wondering if living things changed over time. On the other hand, Jean Baptiste Lamarack was one of the first scientists to propose that living things change over time. But, Lamarack was wrong because he didn't understand how traits are inherited and he didn't understand that an organism's behavior has no effect on its inheritable characteristics. Thomas Malthus stated that if the human population continued to grow unchecked, there would late be insufficient living space and food. Darwin influenced Hitler because Hitler wanted to overpower the world. Darwin also influenced many famous and infamous people from his theory.
