Introducing a dress code could have disadvantages, too. In my opinion many school members do not want a specific type of clothing. Pupils could feel less pleased with the school uniform because of the fact that it doesn’t fit to someone. In addition some people prefer clothes that are appropriate to their body structures, which is way more difficult with a school uniform. Or people compare themselves for example who looks better in it. All in all school uniforms could have an big influence of people’s self-esteem and could risk a negative feeling of going to school.
Introducing a dress code could have important advantages. With a dress code people couldn’t be bullied because of their clothing. Everybody wears the same, so that no one could be insulted because of the facts that their clothes are too cheaply and ugly or that the clothing is not up to date in that time. Moreover there won’t be the splitting in classes of rich and poor. And maybe in the end the feeling of a community will be improved because of wearing and looking equally.
I am probably a good person but I haven't taken the time to fill out my profile, so you'll never know! |
