As i have said, it is about how the user is going to use the technology. If you thing that such social networking sites are the most annoying thing in the world, why not you just not use them? People can use them for many different reasons for example, business advertising, sharing photos, statuses. So it is still up to how you are going to use it.

how is your sister linked to this? Do you think that everyone debating here knows her? Then how are we going to know that she is annoying?

This is one bad example of how a person can make use of a social networking site by using it to cyber bully others. It is up to ones choice how he/she wants to use it.

"I don't think that friends who are made online, or whose relationship is sustained online, are real friends. How can they be if your relationship is on a screen? What quality time is built into a relationship with "love ya 4evr! BFFs!"?"

That is your point of view. People like me, use Facebook and Twitter to connect with other friends that have graduated from my previous schools and we still have a strong bond between us although everything is just on a computer screen. Quality time can be also used to built a friendship with what you have said, "love ya 4evr! BFFs!" such statements can make me feel heartwarming as my friends are caring for me, even with such simple statements.

It is up to oneself. How a person use it.

Althought you do not agree that technology is more of a boon than a bane, but it also depends on how one uses technology. You stated that there are more children that wear spectacles than the old time but i do not agree. As people who need to wear spectacles do not practise proper eye care habit. Thus resulting in their eye sight to degrade.

I agree that technology is more of boon than a bane as it offers many different advantages and disadvantages. It depends on how a person uses the technology that is being given to the user and how the user puts the technology to proper use.

Example of technology includes social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter. People can also advertise for their business on such sites as many people uses them and it will attract attention from the users from that sites. People also can connect with their friends locally or globally on such social networking sites as they are easily accessible via smartphones or computers that are widely used. By using this site users can add friends that they know and they can also share about things that are happening or updating their statuses. Thus the friend that they add will be able to read and get the latest information on what their friends are doing.

With this, i conclude that technology is more of a boon than a bane if it is placed on proper uses.
