Ok, let me get this straight. I present you with an argument that (by your definition) is not spam, is not insane BS, is very civil and reasonable and you come back with what amounts to, "You're an idiot." and you have the audacity to criticize my argument? Name calling; that's your argument? That's the best you can do? Wish granted. You're my enemy.

Normally, I ask what I wrote to offend the person and normally I apologize, retract and fix the problem. But you made an assumption, acted on your assumption and started calling me names. Very intolerant. I didn't like that. You can be civil towards me or we can continue down this road. I don't ask for much. I'm not unreasonable. The ball is on your court.

Actual debate, rather than pop culture bullshit (such as backgrounds and self-aggrandizing forums).

Fascism is more accurately described as corporatism.

Which means industry & business colluding with government to form policy in their favor rather than the people it represents.

This is exactly what we have now. The only reason laws are necessary to get electric vehicles is that we're currently so entrenched in corporatism it's impossible to get it done any other way.

Laws are generally a poor problem-solving tool, but you misunderstand their use.

Laws are not preventative, they are treatment. That is, unless you create so many and enforce them to the point (zero-tolerance) where they just become suppressive, which is even worse.

Laws are there to give us civilized, just recourse for injury/loss, rather than mob rule, secret proceedings, or other unfair & barbaric systems mankind has tried in the past.

First though, you need to establish exactly what you believe needs to change about America. Morality is a subjective intangibility that can vary from person to person; not a good foundation for public policy which would have authority over all. Depending on what you feel is problematic, the steps to counteract those problems could be any number of things, but again, law is a tool of last resort.

Obviously body styles are easy to change, and nothing about electric power restricts them to look "gay".

And yes, there are plenty of designs which look "normal". So the way they look is a non-issue. You can bet that if/when electric vehicles are in mass-production by all the large car companies, there will be the same amount of variety as with gasoline-powered counterparts.

But they don't look bad to me anyway:

The French Postal Service is poised to covert their fleet of over 40,000 vehicles to these (after 3 years of testing):

As far as the powerfulness, I'm not sure exactly what you're referring to. Horsepower?

Stories like these are subversive propaganda used to paint muslims as reactionary, irrational, and bitchy.

The only quote in the article as a reference doesn't even come from someone who was offended. FTA: "My concern was that it's not welcomed by all communities, with the dog on the cards," said Dundee councilor Mohammed Asif, according to the report.

Doesn't sound like he or anyone else is shocked or outraged.

Stories like this are trash.

edit: lmao as soon as I read it I thought "sounds like something from the dailymail (known right-wing newspaper)" and when I looked back at the article again, I saw that it is from the daily mail! lolol

Angry, no. Tired, yes. I hate spam and attention whores.

If you were actually funny, Joe, it'd be different. But your attempts at humor are generally lame and juvenile. To the point that any debate I create gets an automatic Joe ban. Creating debates about stupid shit is one thing, as they can easily be ignored, but stuffing up other debates with bullshit is unacceptable to me.

Or, maybe I'm just an asshole, but I'm okay with that. ;)

Anyone who believes Joseph Smith Jr. found secret Jesus tablets by some angel named Moroni that only he could read because of magic glasses pretty much negates any idea of intellectual honesty from his position. I couldn't read it all due to the glare :P
