It really depends on the nature of your relationship with the person. Taking a business course from a pedophile while not being aware of it doesn't make you any worse unless his pedophilia somehow rubs off on you. But if you deliberately vote for someone like Trump you are either ignorant or a deliberate scum sack of feces.

Bad people can still be good at things, just look at Trump for instance. He is great at lying, and he is also great at manipulating his public image. Pedophiles can make great business men, just like psychopaths and liars can. In fact most business men are at least one of the three.
