yes, pluto is, as we define a planet now, too small. however, it is of historic importance and i think affection to leave pluto as the smallest planet. if we wish to add new objects as other small planets, such as charon, that causes no problems.
let's leave pluto a bit of dignity! :P
not at all. never has god saved anyone. chance is more likely to be your savior than any god.
in fact, the only god you should put your faith in is the sun. it has never failed to do what it promises. never. can't say that about any man (and i use man VERY literally) made god.
nope. i think it's just a different way to relate to each other. people who are not terribly into digital communication will still be able to meet physically, while those of us (hehe) who have a hard time communicating face-to-face find digital communication a godsend.
now one can communicate with people that perhaps you never would in an analog communication setting. it frees one up to be who they really are, in more ways than you would think. of course people embellish themselves or lie, but i think those people would do it no matter whether it was in real life or digital.
human beings can't get their history right from one day to the next, how in the world can you believe that the story of jesus is an accurate account?
the current catholic rulers just went ahead and added more sins to their list, for pete's sake! right there, change has been made that from now on will be taken as gospel, the word of god.
of COURSE jesus is a mythological fiction we have better recordkeeping options now then at any other time in history and WE mess things up. think about it people.
