Gays are human. They were simply born this way and nobody can change that and they deserve rights that fit normal people and one of them is marriage. It's about moral acceptance and harmonizing society and educating people not to judge others way too critically.

Did you even read it? It's all about fighting darkness with love, Harry missing his parents and getting courage to fight for them, and teaching people to deny temptation (esp. on the Horcrux that Ron broke open and the story of the three brothers). In short, love triumphs over evil.

Harry Potter, in case all you people haven't noticed, is a popular childrens book.

It DOES NOT promote Satanic witchcraft.

Sure, they may use wands and magic, but that's not the only reason its popular. It's well written, interesting and a great literacy choice.

It does not in any way, push or force the idea of witchcraft into any childrens minds. The real moral of this story is that love is a much greater power than any so called Dark Magic. It does not "pollute" instead it implants not only writing skills and creative ideas, but moral concepts into childrens minds.

The magical element in it is to only add a twist to make the book a better selling sensation.

Some of you people who side "yes" in this debate are all missing the point.

You're missing the point. Naruto lost his parents and a SUPER young age, and right now we're talking about children growing up with their parents and SPENDING THE REST OF THEIR LIFE LIVING WITH THEM. It's about independence and being able to support yourself and family individually.

As much as I pity Naruto, this is not the case for the topic we're discussing about.

I think you're all focusing on "living without parents" and going on about kids feeling sad, lonely and neglected and parents feeling the same way etc.

But you're missing on the "ALL THEIR LIFE" part.

True, we've gotta love and respect our parents. They raised us to be independent and successful in life.

In my opinion, children sticking to parents like super-glue for like 40 years is although to some people sweet and caring, but really it's kind of ruining your social life.

Some time in life you've got to move out, buy your own apartment or something, get a good stable job and a relationship, without always hanging around your parents. We've got to care for them, yes, but in a different way. Adults are supposed to be independent and able to live without the need of mom and dad.

I oppose your views.

You are stereo-typing all children that use electronics.

Has it ever occured to you that children have homework and need to do research that needs quick and easy access to information? That need can be satisfied by using a computer to do extensive info-searching.

Has it ever occured to you that children don't always use mobiles to play games? Maybe they need to call up a friend and ask about homework, or simply text someone to save time.

I strongly disagree with you and I think you need to open your eyes to the modern world --- children aren't all about fooling around and playing games. They may need to use electronics to 1) improve academics 2) contact people quickly, and therefore should be allowed to use electronics on weekdays.
