My schooldays aren't over yet and in my school we're only taught about socialism. That's the only right way of thinking, according to my school, teachers, and even school books. We don't have the opportunity to discuss about this or make up our own minds.
And the only religion we ever hear about is Christianity and we have no knowledge about other religions. Resulted in ignorance instead of empathy.
Education should give us the foundation to make up our own minds. Instead of telling us what's right and what's wrong.
I am bisexual myself and I really don't see why some of you are saying that's it's against your religion. It's YOUR religion not mine, so don't tell me to stop(?). If your religion says that it's a sin to be homosexual or something, then don't be, but let LGBT just life their life.
In my country it's legal, but religion is not that important here. I realises that religion however is a big deal in America and I understand their arguments against legalization. So my opinion is that abortion should at least be legal if the pregnancy puts the mother in life danger, cases of rape, or if the mother is underage. besides that, I think that many cases in which a woman wants to get an abortion can be prevented with good sex education. the abortions must be done in 22 weeks of pregnancy, after then I call it murder.
I do not see it that way, but if you want to use godless heathen as a synonym for atheïst, then yeah probably.
I grew up with the idea that it was normal to have sex before marriage. me and my sister were the bridesmaids on our parents wedding. Besides that, I have no religion telling me that it's wrong, but I respect people who believe so. I think this is a thing that everyone has to decide for themselves, and respect each others choices without telling them if it was the right or wrong decision.
Pro-Choice is a very easy concept, if you ask me. It's just that a woman should be the one making choices about her own body, so also when it comes to abortion.
My opinion is less valid then yours, for I am no citizen of America. I life in The Netherlands, and I assume y'all know that guns are illegal there, and nobody actually needs them. I completely understand the people who think they need guns to protect themselves but, there are other ways to do that then a gun. Besides that, if guns are illegal, you don't have to protect yourself against guns anymore, which will lower the level of violence a lot. And guns don't kill people? who actually thinks that's true? it's the person who holds the gun that decides to kill, but it's always the gun that's doing the dirty work. If guns are banned the person could still kill, yes that's true, but on such a large scale as with the gun.
