I agree. Social Darwinism is an application of the theory of natural selection to social, political, and economic issues and Darwinism is just species that develop through the natural selection of small, inherited variations that increase the individual's ability to compete, survive, and reproduce.

Social Darwinism follows the mantra of "the strong survive," including human issues. This theory was used to promote the idea that the white European race was superior to others, and therefore, destined to rule. Eugenics is the science of heredity, dealing with resemblances and differences of related organisms resulting from the interaction of their genes and the environment. Both contribute to survival of the fitest- one race over rules another in order to survive.

Social Darwinists argued that individuals and groups, just like plants and animals, competed with one another for success in life. They used this assertion to claim that individuals or groups of individuals at the top of social, economic, or political hierarchies belonged there, as they had competed against others and had proven themselves best adapted. Darwinism was used a lot during the Civil War (1860s). The U.S. was experiencing a lot of social and political issues because of Britain. In addition to the issue of slavery, which made whites more dominant that caused slaves to be fueled by constant immigration.
