Yes you’re absolutely right. I think in general no one has the right to judge about your clothing. If you have your own style, wear it! No matter how cheap or expensive the clothes are, if you like it you can wear it.

One advantage of introducing a dress code at school is, that no one is able to get a higher value in society because of expensive or brand clothing. Nowadays young teenagers care a lot about their appearance and the worth of their clothing. Many of them prefer therefore “high end” clothing because it expresses prosperity. In their minds people, that don’t wear clothes like this are maybe less worth or poor. Because of this reason many students are bullied by those who think only expensive clothing makes a person to a good person. By introducing a dress code the bullies can be stopped because everyone is wearing the same.

In my opinion the FOS Bamberg should not introduce a dress code for the next year. Every student at this school has its own personality that is also reflected by their individual style. If everyone at school is forced to wear something that corresponds to a strict ruled dress code, no one can express their individuality and everyone looks the same.

I think you’re right, the development of the communication has changed a lot & we’re quite dependent to digital communication

I’ve got a splitted opinion about digital communication. On the one hand it’s way easier, quicker and incomplicated to send text messages instead of sending letters or phoning somebody. On the other hand, I think the way of communication nowadays has changed extremely compared to 10-20 years ago. These days it’s way inpersonal, you can’t express your real emotions behind your phone. It’s also quite sad that our genaration is so dependent to mobile phones. If you want to be up-to-date, you need a phone so that you don’t miss „important“ events. And if you’re having none, you’re an outcaster who lives in Stone Age. Nowadays you’re almost forced to communicate in the digital way, because everyone uses sheer social media accounts like WhatsApp, Snapchat or Instagram and isn’t reachable otherwise.
