I get up to watch some CNN and all they wanna talk about is the child. The go to real news for like 1 minute and then spend 5-7 minutes talking about the child. I am tired of hearing about it. I mean sure this is a wonderful child and yes its a prince or whatever but I want to learn something new. I do not want to know what a royal potty trainer for the child looks like.
In your opinion, what is the best way to counter terrorism? After being in America for awhile I have began to notice that people are really concerned about terrorism and I have heard many methods. What method do you think is the most effective in countering terrorism?
To me it seems to be a complete anti communist party. Its like one extreme to the other.
Communism:
Property is theft
Totalitarianism
Capitalists are frowned upon or seen as villains
Working class should rule
Poor are oppressed
Libertarianism:
Property is sacred
Any government is "bad"
Capitalists are looked up to or seen as heroic
Worker activism is bad
The poor are pampered good for nothings
Libertarians, this is true right? Or am I missing something?

"I have worked with investors for 60 years and I have yet to see anyone — not even when capital gains rates were 39.9 percent in 1976-77 — shy away from a sensible investment because of the tax rate on the potential gain. People invest to make money, and potential taxes have never scared them off. And to those who argue that higher rates hurt job creation, I would note that a net of nearly 40 million jobs were added between 1980 and 2000. You know what’s happened since then: lower tax rates and far lower job creation." - Warren E. Buffet
This is an excerpt from an article I found called "Stop Coddling The Super Rich"
Warren says that "It’s time for our government to get serious about shared sacrifice."
Do you believe what is saying? Is it time for the rich to pay higher taxes?
Warren also goes on to say "Most wouldn’t mind being told to pay more in taxes as well, particularly when so many of their fellow citizens are truly suffering."
If this is true and the rich class doesn't mind higher levels of taxation we should tax them at a higher rate. Right?
What is your opinion or what do you believe should be done to resolve this issue?
With the huge advancements in technology I suspect that some person will attempt a human clone and be successful. If we can create a human being without reproduction are we doing God's work since he is known as the only person that can create human life? Will God become irrelevant if we can create beings with supernatural abilities? Would we be on an equivalent scale with God?
I am aware that some people don't believe God exists. I am talking about the Christian God. You don't have to believe he exists. We can just use him as a reference or something.
Well I am a Christian. Not really a big one because I really don't care that much but today I smoked some weed at my friends house and this weird Christian boy (he looked like he was maybe 19) and he told me that since I was smoking I will burn in hell for eternity and god will smite me off the face of this earth for smoking. I told him that the bible says not to judge. Then he said God hates smokers like you. Burn in hell!! So I just gave him an awkward look and kept smoking my pot. So is what he did like ungodly or whatever? Also how come these "Christians" don't act like "Christians"?
I know doing drugs is illegal but if you go to prison for possession of marijuana then I just don't think you did that credible of an offense. As for other drugs I feel like if they are just in possession you should just get a fine or something.
