I'm not a reader. I hate reading anything but reference type books. However, I've considered writing a book of my own - many times over the years. (I would probably use a ghost writer because it wouldn't get finished otherwise)... Anyway, I'm trying to Guage two things.
1. Would the "Life of an online activist" be a good/ interesting perspective for a book?
2. Would anyone be interested enough to buy it?
To: Same Sex Marriage Supporters
Would you allow for a brother to marry his brother? A sister to marry her sister? A father to marry his son? A mother to marry her daughter? If you would deny marriage to ANY of them.... on what grounds would you deny them?
The word fetus describes the stage of life and development that a creature (including humans) is in. It doesn't take anything away from what that creature is.
A deer in the fetal stage of their life is a deer.
A horse in the fetal stage of their life is a horse.
An elephant in the fetal stage of their life is an elephant.
A human being in the fetal stage of their life is a human being.
They can all be called "fetuses" but it doesn't take anything away from what they ARE.
According to this article about a woman 'Addicted to Abortions' , one out of every two women who get an abortion will repeat. Many people on this website and others have proclaimed their support for abortions with the caveot that they don't like seeing abortion used for birth control. My question is "Why not?"If it's NOT a child and has no rights... what's wrong with killing it and ridding yourself of it for any reason you 'choose?'
Just as the debate title says.
It is morally okay for the majority in a society
to deny basic human rights to a minority group of other human beings
and for whatever reason the majority decides to deny them. True or False? EXAMPLE: Would it be morally okay for society (the majority) to re-enact slavery and make it legal?
Years ago, I was a caller on Jerry Springer's talk show which was part of the liberal "Air America" lineup. The subject was abortion and Jerry was entertaining the idea of a compromise on abortion. This is the one that I proposed. It's very simple. Remember - the whole idea of a compromise is that both sides have to give some ground in order to meet in the middle.1. Pro-Aborts, Pro-Lifers and Anti-Aborts agree that a child's life begins at conception.2. Pro-Aborts, Pro-Lifers and Anti-Aborts agree that all abortions are homicides. They kill a Child. 3. The above agreement (1&2) would be written into law using language much like the language of Unborn Victims of Violence Act.4. All sides agree that abortions remain legal and that this compromise has afforded prenatal children their rights to due process... and their rights have now been deprived by the compromise so they can now be legally and Constitutionally killed (much like a convicted felon).
Quocalimar said: Women who can't keep a child will always try to do something to get rid of it, that may include going to shady illegal places to terminate the pregnancy, or a more drastic and less likely method of doing dangerous substances, in the hope for a miscarriage. Which isn't really solving the issue it's just making women find alternatives while they still push the issue hoping to end the alternative practices.QUESTION: Is this reason enough to justify denying children their rights to the equal protections of our laws?
Which is the Greater (Bigger) Crime Against Humanity?50 Million Lives Destroyed or One Million Gay Marriages Denied?
This argument assumes 1. That the sexual intercourse was consensual2. That the parties involved were of sound mind and of legal age3. That that the risk (for pregnancy) is actually realized.4. That there is NO legal or moral expectation that the pregnancy must be maintained. 5. ONLY that it was 'impliedly' consented to. Why are so many Members here - Fixated on Religion?
I could care less what anyone's religious beliefs are. As we have a 1st Amendment right to believe anything we want to or even nothing at all... I don't see the point in arguing about religion. So, Why are so many Members here - Fixated on Religion?
" There are, of course, concerns that this knowledge could be used by parents who want to avoid gay offspring, Rice said, but that concern already exists around certain hormonal conditions in utero, which are known to contribute to an increased chance of offspring being lesbians."
http://tinyurl.com/bonj3rcA prenatal test is being developed to determine if the child you are carrying will likely be gay or not. Will this be a game changer in the abortion debate?
In a Pacific Grove, California - Lawmakers have passed a law making it a $1000 fine for anyone to molest a Monarch butterfly.
"A 1939 city ordinance authorizes a $1,000 fine for "MOLESTING a butterfly in ANY way." The people of Pacific Grove have had a long love affair with their butterfly guests and take THEIR PROTECTION very seriously. "In that same respect, an Abortion is a form of Molestation too.
A question inspired by the denials of so many pro-aborts in these debates...."A human being in the fetal stage of their life is a "HUMAN being."TRUE or FALSEWind them up and watch them go!
NOTE: This is not a question about when a child's life begins. This is a question about when a child's rights should begin. Please understand the difference before you answer. A child's right to their life should begin when their life does Anyone who fails to address the question will be banned
I notice that some here don't like books and references and all, but I have no other way to help you see your own denials. So, I hope you will reconsider the use of some scientific and other objective information that I share and use to support my claims.
Note that these are NOT abortion related websites.
