Shhhh, I wanted to make a for/against poll and you can't stop me.So, why do people debate? Is it to try to prove themselves right and others wrong, a sort of self-confirmation thing? Is it a prosthletisation thing, "everyone must think the same as me" - so you're trying to convert people? Or do you now mind what people think, agree or disagree, you just want to learn new things?Or is it because twitter isn't turning up anything interesting, you can't be arsed to clean the kitchen, and you're taking it out on strangers online. OH WAIT SHIT, I forgot!! OR, is it, in fact, NONE of these reasons and I the OP haven't got a fucking clue!

Who's been commenting on all my old debates, like, seroiusly i just came back on and i had a new argument on 20 or so fo them........ 

C'mon where are all the controversial debates that actually challenge morality and get people pissed off...... Someone think of something, I don't know... Challenge the theory behind eugenics or, assess whether the world would be a wors epalce if the holocaust didn't take place (butterfly effect and all that). Let's be a bit more creative, shall we?

Would you take advntage of it? Is there that one person, or more, you could kill and then happily go about your life with no regrets? The idea that if out of 100 people, 30% don't vote, 20% vote Labour, 23% vote Liberal, and 27% vote conservative.... 27% is still a majority vote, where 73% of people did not get who they wanted. Is this system of voting fair and democratic? ( Doesn't need to be an alternative, just whether or not it's fair..!) 

As far as I'm concerned, none of the songs being made today will be being played in 20, 50, or a hundred years time, unlike many songs made 20, 50, 100 and more years ago.What do you think?

 What would you guys say to making more 'help' debates..? By this, I mean if anyone on the site is having troubles with anything (whether it's to do with relationships, or just feeling down-whatever) then they can make debates about it, and other users can put forth their opinions on helping them out :) I see a lot of people raging at each other on here for more and more inane reasons and I think, " Well surely we could be doing something else?"  I appreciate this is a site for debating, but not just saying " I'm right, you're not." Debate sites aid towards communication skills, understanding other people's points of views, and assessing the matter in hand in order to give a suitable answer. And from some of the recent debates I've seen here, this isn't really getting across..!

Just figured I would share my thoughts :PYep! It's that time of the (whatever time-frame you wish to insert) where a new User arrives who is sure to plaster the site in Bible verses and testaments against 'sodomites, homosexuals, and other sinners'.  Be sure to look out for him y'all, he's my best friend :) ( Who incidentally, I could not be bothered to remember his name.. Awfully sorry pal ;) )

I want to hear what the good people of CreateDebate think! Not whether gay marriage should be legal, or whether it is a sin or not.. Just in your opinion, do you think ( in general) homosexuals are good people, or bad people? And if you do any shitty Bible quoting, or any other quoting which has involved no actual work of your own, you shall be banned..! (No one in particular.. ;P ) 

 Has something happened in the news I am not aware of? Because the majority of debates on the site home page at the moment are bisexual/homosexual related. So why all the fuss, what's happened all of a sudden?? 

Meaning: Would maknkind in general be happier if there was no God, in other words, atheists are right, or if there was a God, in other words, theists are right. Would you prefer there was an afterlife or not?
