Once a week I'll add another User from CD to our Wiki page, if animedude will allow me too :)
I'd like to do this with everyone though, I'll post a debate once a week with a users name, you tell me what we should put about them on Wiki.
What do you think? If this goes well, then we can do other things on Wiki too. :)
Natural highs include near death experiences, heights, a new outfit, or (of course) marijuana. You get the idea hopefully.
Induced highs include cocaine, molly, heroin, and such.
I just have the two sides for orgnazation purposes. You can list in either, or both if you like. :)
Hello all :)
I am sure most of you don't know me, but I use to basically live on cd, and made a few videos for the site. I am just wondering what is new with the site, and how is everyone. :) If you do remember me say hi!
Oaken's gay family
Hey, did you notice the gay character? I didn't either, until I went to see the film a second time. It turns out that giant man in "Wandering Oaken's Trading Post and Sauna" is probably gay. When he throws in the sauna package for Kristoff, he turns to say "Hello, family!" and BAM! there they are.
The adult in the sauna is clearly implied to be his husband. Best yet, Oaken and his partner have a family — and it's not even a thing. In the few minutes that he's on screen, Disney manages to make a compelling character of Oaken. He is friendly to his customers and generous with his assistance. He's a savvy businessman who understands economics (supply and demand, Kristoff), and he isn't afraid to stand up for himself when Kristoff calls him a crook.
This is a part from an article, just the part I wanted to discuss.
Here's the whole article http://www.policymic.com/articles/79455/7-moments-that-made-frozen-the-most-progressive-disney-movie-ever
What's your opinion on women who never want to have children?
I was discussing this the other day with one of my co-workers. That I may not ever want children, and she said she was sure she never did. We got to talking about the things people say to us when we tell them that.
There's the normal comments such as;
"Why? You'd make a great mom!"
"Oh, you'll change your mind when you're older"
"You'll end up with the most kids, just you wait."
Then there's the downright rude comments;
"You're not fulfilling your debt to society by not having children"
"Women are designed to be nutures, therefore you're unnatural"
You're going to die alone"
"You're selfish, you don't want children because you'd rather be able to go out and get drunk every night rather than be a responsible parent"
The comments I've heard, and the ones she told me she's heard, are ABSOLUTELY ridiculous.
So CD, what's you opinion on the matter?
I've done this debate before, but due to something I’m doing in my personal life I want to go over it again. Maybe with different users I’ll get different responses, and I didn't really get what I wanted out of the last one, so let’s try again.
Also, this is strictly about relationship abuse. Physical is rather obvious what it pertains to. Emotional can be controlling, manipulation, and so on.
Because I actually like some of you, and I'm home alone.
I know it's short, and crappy, but hey, be lucky you got anything :p
Serious question though, which have my videos haven't totally sucked? lol
Enjoy ;)
What kind of influence, if any, did the song "Same Love" have?
Song by Macklemore, and Ryan Lewis, if nothing else got the younger generation talking when it hit the radio. But how large of an influence did it have in your opinion?
Me and a couple friends had a conversation about this, and another question came up: If someone isn't an organ donor because religion reasons that they need to go as a whole, then would they refuse a transplant to save their own lives?
Thoughts on the morals of this?
Who would you be most heart broken about finding out they were a fake on here?
For me it would be Andy, I have a LOT of trust and respect for him and that would break my heart.
Plus he kind of owns the site, so that would be weird. lol
An acquaintance of mine recently made this comment "Look at what that girl is wearing, she's going to grow up to be nothing" At least something along those lines if not exactly.
Now, this made me think, do the clothes really matter? I mean, yes, it was an inappropriate outfit for a girl probably around the age of ten to twelve.
BUT, it's not the outfit that determines how her life is, or where it will go. But the fact that she has parents that let her wear something like that, and weren't even around from what I could see while she was walking around Wal-mart, yes this was at Wal-mart, does have something to say about her life.
Thoughts? Can we determine where a child's life is going based on what they're wearing?
So, I have to be honest, I'm kind of mad at you guys. How dare you compare me to fake accounts in the awards ;)
Just kidding, but seriously what have I missed?
How the heck have you guys been managing without me? ;)
Seriously, have I missed anything good?
I missed you guys :( Sorry I've been inactive so long, I was dealing with some things in my life, but it's mostly better now.
How is everyone :)
We all know that women can be pretty unreasonable around that time of the month, not all of them, but a lot. Myself included sometimes.
So I propose an option on CD where if you see a women being unreasonable due to that time of the month, you simply click a button and her debates and activity will go to a seperate section of the site until she is sane enough to return.
Any name suggestions for the section?
;)
