Winning Position: Totally Awesome
I'm going to post a debate where you have two choices but it's really just one choice, and I won't give you a third option that you might have in a Perspectives debate.
I for one think he's at least Totally Awesome: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wmwM_AKeMCk
So kthxbailulz.
Winning Position: The Autism Spectrum, aka The Weirdness.

The Autism Spectrum, aka The Weirdness.
I'm not going into detail about what Autism is, or where I am on the spectrum, but what's everyone's viewpoint on what Autism is specifically? That is, is it a condition, disability, curse, illness, blessing, evolution, etc.
Winning Position: It really is.

[Insert Blind Optimist post]
Perhaps I'm depressed and perhaps I'm biased about it. But honestly you can only make so much progress before some of it comes back to bite you in the ass. I feel humanity has done just this and we're now caught in a death spiral that will end in some major global catastrophe. I don't think it'll be an apocalypse, but who knows, might at least be a huge wake up call. Or perhaps people will shut their eyes, stop their ears, and pretend it's ok like little children sometimes do.
Winning Position: Werewolves
This is a 'for the lulz' debate, but between these two options, which is better in your opinion? For the sake of simplicity and accuracy, this will only concern more traditional versions of these supernaturals, so Teams Edward and Jacob should look elsewhere (eheh). Also, when I say vampire, I mean the type that feeds on the living and spontaneously combusts in sunlight; likewise, werewolves are those who cannot control their shifts and are victims of the full moon (in some stories, they change every night) and go on to kill/maim/injure other humans, therefore spreading their curse among the survivors.
But which supernatural do you feel is better?
You can google this if you want (if you aren't certain what it is), but first I want you to say what you think it is, based on what you may have heard, seen, or thought of. Misconceptions or not, let's hear it.
And of course, try to keep it out of the realm of comedy for now. You know who you are.
View the following video (and a few more, Extra Credits absolutely rocks), and then discuss what your thoughts are about the topic. That is, do you agree or disagree? Are you on the fence? Did it make you think about something you hadn't considered before? Did it change anything for you, or are you still just 'meh'?
Any thoughts and feelings this time, so jokes are ok. So long as you read the video and all that.
And then when you're done I really recommend watching more of these videos. They outline a lot of stuff about gaming and the industry itself and it's so fascinating. I'm hooked, personally.

Winning Position: The focus is Debate.
The issue I've noticed ever since joining is that there seems to be a focus on creating drama-filled 'debates' rather than, well, actual debates that probe the issue called for. What should be a discussion to learn more about the subject at hand - even if you oppose the concept - has turned into nothing but flame wars and 'revenge' debates (I'm looking at you, Dana).
So, what's your view on this subject? Are the debates on here too Dramatic, or are there still decent Debates going on despite all the drama.
Where is the 'focus': Drama or Debate?
Winning Position: Unresolved
Discuss the following quote. In your discusion, please provide whether you agree or disagree with the statement, and the reason why you agree/disagree. While I have classified this debate as 'Religion', it is not limited to the category, so feel free to express your views in any way you see fit, within reason.
"Anyone capable of logical thinking will realize we are in fact biological physical beings with pre coded instincts hardwired into our sinews and brains for survival purposes; just like so called lesser animals. These so-called lesser animals which never deviated from their instinctual nature seem to be much less riddled with the problems the modern society and culture of the “superior” animal man has become plagued by."
