I would choose the very bottom of Baja Mexico. It gives you nearly a 1,000 mile buffer zone between you and the expected blast zones in the United States and its nuclear allies in the Western Hemisphere.

I would also have a bunker that has approximately two feet thick of ultra high dense concrete (The type that is used in bank vaults). That would be for gamma radiation.

Lethal Injection is just as problematic as any other form of Capital Punishment.

1) Most of the condemned have bad veins due to drug use

2) The barbiturate might not be strong enough for larger size people

3) Companies making the drugs are ceasing to sell to the US because of their own personal views.

Pro's for Electrocution

1) Electricity causes unconsciousness almost instantaneously.

2) Its cheaper and it doesn't cause ethical issues involving doctors compared to lethal injection

3) It is the most effective form of execution that causes deterrence.

I definitely believe that discrimination and prejudice is very much a real thing and I will point out just the things I get discriminated about.

1) I am an atheist

2) My Weight is more 150 pounds

3) I suffer from mental illness

Those are just a few things I deal with all the time

Out of all the countries in the Pacific, Thailand has the highest murder rate against foreigners. To those that I know who have been there, the locals are Extremely Xenophobic and can pose a threat to anyone who decides to check this place out.

I would recommend to anyone that I know to go to the Philippines instead. The locals are very friendly towards travelers and wannabe explorers.

How can it be insulting/disrespectful to a faith that really doesn't exist? Humanity made religion because of a fact that we needed something that would provide a guide to morality, and many other things for different groups of people.

When it comes to the Middle East. The Islamic Republic of Iran is the most radical of them all.

Not to mention that they have the largest standing military in the Middle East. But, I see them more as a threat of "Influence" than as an actual threat to any sovereign country. All countries that are in revolt right now, Libya, Egypt, Syria are being heavily influenced by Iran and it has been proven that the weapons the rebels are being supplied to are from Iran(Except Syria, which is an ally of Iran). They are the ones still causing problems in Iraq and the Taliban are being supplied by them.

They are still many years away from having a nuclear weapon system that can put the whole Middle East in danger.

It has been contested many times, and at least 3 occasions in the US Supreme Court that a person does not have any unrealistic levels of privacy.

This has also been tested in the UK as well since they use the cameras more than anywhere else in the World.

Since this isn't a matter of who is a better person, An Atheist vs Theist? This is a matter of control and free will. Every human being on this planet has the ability to think for themselves. Unfortunately, speaking for themselves is a different matter. But, no one should be forced to believe in one set of beliefs or another. This is a debate that truly comes out of the novel 1984.

No one should be forced into theism or not.

The bad parts of the bastardized versions of Communism out there are wrong and will never be what Karl Marx called "Utopia for the Common Man"

I knew someone who was deeply Mormon and was a firm believer in Abstinence. She was coming home (Arizona) to see her family for the holidays. She stopped at a rest stop and a serial rapist sexually abused her. unfortunately, the rapist was an illegal and the police didn't do very much to try to find who did this.

She was so distraught about not being a virgin, when her parents left the house. She killed herself with a .357 Magnum while they were away. She meant a lot to me. People like that, you cannot save. They will just find another way to end their pain. My problem was very treatable and I live a happy life today.

This is from my very personal experiences. To be at the point of committing suicide, one must be at his/her very lowest part of his life. He/she feels that there is nothing left for him/her and the best thing to do is go for that sweet release. Like the moderator said, it has many causes and reasons. My attempts were because of my schizophrenia/Manic-Depression. Plus you add in certain things like your girlfriend dumps you for an unspeakable reason. You lose the will to live and Suicide is a means to get away from that pain.

I have been declared dead twice. Spent 10 days in the ICU and my heart will never be the same again. I have to take medication or my heart will go so fast it will "Blow out".

This tragedy hurts everyone around you....I mean everyone! But, at that point. You really don't give a damn what others are thinking about when you are into the act.

With anti-depressants and anti-psychotics, plus certain types of therapy. You can curtail the overall problem that causes the suicide idealizations itself.

It is never appropriate to hit a child. It doesn't matter what setting the child is in. "Corporal Punishment" has been proven to be ineffective and can lead to Severe Mental Illness later on in the person's life.

The schools would be better off if they took a Secular approach and didn't teach either "Intelligent Design" or "Evolution".

Religion should never be in the school system, nor does questionable theories as well. In my school...we went with just good old "Facts".

I have several reasons why this nation should fall back and go into isolationism. The first is our ever weakening economy. We are spending billions of dollars a month on defense spending. This and many other items is whats causing the government to burn through more tax payer dollars than ever before. If we were to fall back and defend our own country, we could potentially cut at least 1/3 the defense budget. We would still have a very large nuclear deterrence in this world and that in it self is intimidation alone.

Secondly, with the ever growing use of drones. We can do things today without the use of manned aircraft and troop buildup.

Thirdly, it would make the United States look a lot better in the eyes of the international community. We are viewed as "over-the top, imperialistic, warmongers" and if we were to back out of many of the places that we are not needed. We will look better.

I believe that school really does prepare you for the real world. Both intellectually and on a personality basis. At one moment you have classes that teach you necessary material that you will use in most jobs and in high levels of learning as well. The other moment is the personality factor. It teaches you to deal with a variety of experiences that can be dealt with later on in life. Like my guidance counselor said "Being in school is very much a full time job, you have to have attendance, good attitude and be able to handle situations as they come".

I feel that both agnostics and religious people are trying to prove us (Atheists) wrong every chance they get.

That's why a Particle Physicist theorized that there is this "Magical" particle called "The God Particle". This particle would be the key to answer all the questions scientists have, everything from "The Big Bang" to "creation of Humanity"

Yet they have not been able to find any remnants to anything that could be a "God Particle" Even the "Large Hadron Collider" cannot find it.

By the way, Stephen Hawking even said "In the Universe, there is no place for God". This is coming from one of the masters of Quantum Physics.

I can't exactly pick one President.

1) Herbert Hoover: His actions made the Great Depression much worse than what it should have been. He had the national Guard shoot WW1 vets who tried to get their military severance that they were promised. BTW....It was future General Douglas MacArthur that lead the shooting of the WW1 Veterans.

2) Andrew Johnson: Nearly Impeached for the use of the presidential office in an abusive manner. He slowed down the reconstruction of the south and many other reasons.

It costs the state government up to a million dollars over a lifetime to keep a person jailed up for a life sentence. While it costs a grand total of $83.45 in medication for Lethal Injection. Do the math

The United States has an eye for an eye policy against people who do some of the worst things imaginable. What if someone you knew was kidnapped, raped multiple times and finally killed.

That person does not deserve the right to live. If there was anything unjust about our Capital Punishment system is that we let these people spend 15 years making useless appeals.

I admit that there is flaws in our current method of execution (Lethal Injection) due to a lot of these people have bad veins. Because they have had a history of IV drug abuse. We should bring back hanging and that should end the "Cruel & Unusual Punishment" argument that takes up too much time in the US Supreme Court.

We are no longer a colony and if it wasn't for us. The UK would be speaking German right now.

If the Declaration of Independence was to be considered illegal. Should the Magna Carta be considered illegal as well?

The human body was not meant to be run solely on Vegetables. There are many required Vitamins, Minerals, and Proteins that are necessary to run the human body and its metabolism that can only be taken in by eating protein rich meats. That's why most of your Vegans or Vegetarians have to take a Multivitamin that is specifically made for them.

1) There is enough AK-47's out there to arm millions of angry people.

2) Their simplicity is what makes them the best. They have fewer moving parts and are tougher than a M-16. You can bury an AK in mud and pick it up and shoot it just fine. If you do that with a M-16, you have to clean it and hope that no one is shooting at you with an AK-47.

My Grandmother died in '05. Her cause of death that was concluded by the Medical Examiner was M.I. and Emphysema. She had a total of 7 heart attacks since she started smoking when she was 13.

The pathologist said that it was all avoidable if she was able to quit smoking.

I believe that people should have the right to own a gun. But, prospective hand gun owners and anyone that has the desire to have a Concealed Weapons Permit should take safety and ethics classes.

Plus, certain rules should be in place. If you have been hospitalized for a mental illness, then the prospect should wait for 2 years to purchase a handgun or a semi-automatic assault rifle like the AR-15. That is the law in my state.

But, yes. I do believe that people should be allowed to own guns
