Absolutely, the US follows a different system when it comes to party politics.

Of course, it's Berkeley. California.

Breeding ground for fascist such as Antifa.

If you call, slandering the US President over a scandal that has no evidence that it actually occurred, a joke then I would hate to be around your sense of humor.

The pot calling the kettle black.

Another politician that claims he is a normal citizen when in fact he is far from reality.

1 point

You came back after a year just to tell us that? You must have a lot of time on your hands.

1 point

Of course. Did this surprise you?

Stephen Colbert is not a "news" show but a comedy. That's why it is on Comedy Central.

However, the media likes to treat him as a "news" channel and draws from his show and place it into theirs. I've seen it.

Yes, the world must be coming of it's axis.

We all remember how the mailman use to go postal. Somehow, he would pull it out of his buttocks.

How are the conservatives trying to make the United States a Autocratic Republic?

Even though my gut wants a general knowledge test requirement, it's against the principals of the United States to require such a thing. I believe a general knowledge test about the candidate(s) would "enlightened" people a bit.

Funny story. This one guy was taking a video of him in the voting booth. You could tell he was a millennial and pretty liberal. Anyways, he picks Hillary Clinton and then goes, "oh... Well, her name sounds pretty" and proceeds to vote for someone that he doesn't know.

As Winston Churchill said, "The best argument against democracy is a five minute conversation with the average voter".

Status Quo.

First of all, Russia, China, US, Pakistan, India, etc will not give up their nuclear armory completely, period.

Secondly, nuclear weapons have stopped more wars than start them. The obvious downside of this is that if two of these nations go to war, they can be faced with the possibility of a nuclear war.

In a perfect world, nuclear weapons would be outlawed. But then so would war and we wouldn't need them in the first place.

What goes up, must come down. That saying goes for the Dow too. People will soon start to sell off their stocks and it will decrease. It's just what happens.

It is the women in India decision to either move forward or stay back.

What a lot of people don't understand is some women are completely okay with this. Some women like not being responsible for multiple things like men.

The women in the US (if that's what your referring to) and most of the Western World are equal rights as men. Therefore, they don't need empowerment.

They have it.

1 point

"stay woke."

I didn't know what this word meant until I watched Dear White People.

Who in Sam's hell would say this? Not only is crude English, it also makes you sound like a toddler especially since she is a member of Congress.

She has been in way too long. Time to introduce term limits.

This is why we must keep English class mandatory throughout high school. My English isn't perfect, but I can place words together to make a sentence.

That's a lot of guest too. Even when I'm on here at midnight, with maybe one or two members on, there seems to be at least 10 or some guest.

At this rate we should have hundreds of debaters on here debating.

Well it's just me thinking. I mean, they show dramatic TV shows (or use to. I think they ditched the idea a short while ago) about the weather. Then, whenever they have an intro it plays videos of the worse weather you can see with dramatic music in the back ground etc.

I don't know much about the Fermi Paradox and therefore I really can't debate it sadly.

However, I will add something. As said above, we are just now discovering other exoplanets. Planets in which we can't see, even with our technology. On top of that, they are light years away. In the end we really don't know.

Just food for thought.

I'm not disagreeing with what you say, but just a heads up. Bill Nye isn't a "real" scientist. He is... or was... a mechanical engineer. He has no other "certification" backing him.

On another note, I do believe he is a very intelligent man. Even though I disagree with him a lot.

1 point

Likewise. Plus, I've realized CreateDebate is more relaxed .

I wouldn't go as far as saying that Islam is, "good". But not all Muslims want a bloodbath. In fact, the majority of them would probably like to be left alone.

Despite our differences all around, we are going have to warm up to them some time. Vice versa. Otherwise we will just keep going around in this circle. The first place to start is to eradicate radical Islamic terror. And we will need them to help us on that.

That's my two cents.

1 point

Not surprising. Everyday, I actually start to believe regressives have a metal disorder.

Yes, BLM, also who credits a terrorist for their founding, is delusional. At almost every major BLM protest, it has been followed by violence against police and regular citizens. BLM doesn't know what law and order is due to the fact they have never shown it.

You couldn't pay me to listen to this woman.

If I had to choose one, though, I would pick brownies.

I've read a piece of their, "hacking" claim.

Should drug dealers be jailed? Of course they should be deported. If they want to be here, then they must become US citizens. America for Americans.

Crazy, crazy, crazy . They must think we are dumb.

I believe the owner should have free reign over their business within reason. I also think a business owner has the right to choose who he or she wishes to serve. That is my personal belief but I also believe government does play a role in all of it. A minor role, but a role never the less.

We all know the modern day brown skirts feminazis.

The term, democracy, means that the people vote for a person to govern them. A Republic is a system in which people are governed.

Our system works (or suppose to) like this.

We elect representatives from our district to represent us, The People. The Senate acts the same way, but over a state instead of a district. This was suppose to help keep the balance of state and federal laws. It gives everyone a voice, even the people living in hick town.

So the US is a democracy cause the people vote for people to govern them. Though, the system we use is a republican system.

That's why they sometimes say the US is a, "Democratic Republic".

I think Milo has some other problems that needs attending to other than him being gay. I like listening to him sometimes (even though I don't agree with him on everything), but it seems like this man is lost as last year's Easter egg.

1 point

Yes. If we didn't dropped the atomic bomb(s) on Japan, then we would have had to invade Japan by land, sea, and air in which would cost the lives of hundreds of thousands, if not million(s).

And as one said above, you can be damned sure if Germany or Japan had their hands on those weapons, they would have done the same thing.

1 point

Well, depends what you mean and in what context.

I think it is somewhat the other way around now. Personally, when someone tells me they are a Christian, I try to look for faults to see if they might take advantage of me later on. I become cynical of them. The only reason why is because the vast majority of Christians I ran into are no different from you or me. There are very few and far between of those Christians that live a Christian life style.

I think today its more neutral than anything. Back in the day, however, if you were not a Christian, you were probably one of the few.

Well, I haven't drunk either in along time. But when I was a kid, Coke was my milk and honey. I'm surprised I never had cavities from all the coke I drank.

Although, I do like a Pepsi now and then. It gives a different kind of, "kick" when you've been drinking coke for so long.

Stalin killed 10 million of his own people. Let's not forget that the Soviets suffered a famine back in 1932 that killed even more. Even Russians consider Stalin an evil man. This guy made Hitler look like child's play. He also decimated the majority of Russian leadership across the board, including the military which bore a heavy cost in WW2.

1 point

He done the crime, I think he should do the time. If I'm not mistaken, two soldiers, who had their whole life ahead of them, died searching for him. They lost their lives forever.

And they have the guts to say he lost 12 years of his life?

They're nuts.

I know they are lawyers and it's their job to get him off the hook, but common sense really says otherwise. This guy walked off his post ON PURPOSE.

I don't think he committed treason like some would say, but he did go AWOL and he should be punished for his crime.

When we criticize the left, we don't really mean literally that we believe you love Muslims. What we are trying to get at is the left seems to be willing to bring them from countries with a history of radical Islamic terrorism (Syria, Iraq, Egypt, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, etc.) and consider them, "refugees".

The truth of the matter is this.

1. 75 percent of the refugees in Europe are young men.

2. Over half come from Syria, a country that's in a war with multiple parties. Including ISIS.

3. Since Sweden issued an open door policy, the crime rate has increased over 300 percent and 1 in 4 women in Sweden will be raped by what the statistics show.

4. And now there are cities in Europe with an "off limits" area that are filled with Muslims who refuse to acclimate to their new countries' culture.

5. Terrorist attacks have happened across Europe for that past decade, the majority which were caused by radical Islamic terrorist.

6. Over 500 people have been killed since 2004 from radical Islamic terrorism

....and I could go on and on.

Use to be a fun city from what I heard. I guess not anymore! I'll stay in my state I guess. Fine cities here anyway.

1 point

I really like Ben Shapiro. I don't agree with him on everything, but he makes really great points in words that I can't.

I didn't know you could get fined for mislabeling a person. I've accidently called women sirs before and I can't believe they would fine you for that. What should you say? "Yes, human"?

Being a regressive is sick.

They technically no longer consider it a mental disorder anymore. Just saying. I 100 percent believe it is a mental disorder. Yet, I'm not a doctor so...

...I wonder how they would treat it today anyway. Counseling?
