What do you do if you encounter an unsavory person?

No. We should keep the peace. Guns are not the answer.

I support animal testing, but only multiple choice questions. Essay questions are cruel.

It annoys me when you yanks think that England/English and Britain/British are interchangeable.

Who said they were interchangeable?

I wouldn't think so, just checking. As for fake field goals on first and goal, when would that make sense? If there's one second left in the game and you're down by 2, a field goal would certainly be reasonable. But could you justify faking a field goal?

Do you call women and babies Englishmen? Also, is "Brit" offensive?

It's certainly more black and white than most debates, but it still allows for discussion. For example, is the United States of Columbia a real country? There can be speculation while we're trying to figure out what the answer is. And then there can be reflection about how people like or dislike what the answer turns out to be. If there's no room for discussion, I don't see why a perspectives debate would be any better.

Are you a liberal now?

Yes, I've noticed the phone thing too. I find these things distracting, and it reminds me that these are just actors doing a job. Why do they want to break the illusion?

I also don't know why this debate is in versus format. Either there are other countries, or there are not.

Yes, hence the two sides, yes or no. Which do you think it is?

Thank you for being a friend.

Not sure what you're doing here. I didn't mean for the words "United States" to be placeholders for any random words. I'm talking about where the exact words "United States" are in the name of the country.

Really, they can do that? That's pretty severe.

I know people who spend way more money than their income can justify, and they don't get investigated. (An investigation would reveal that they're deep in debt, but on the surface they could be drug dealers.)

So let's say our drug dealer launders their money through a car wash. Why don't they get investigated, since car washes are known to be used for laundering money?

You need to report where the income came from

Why? You need to report things like wages and interest because your employer and bank will report it, and you'll get caught if you don't. But if you just don't report your drug money, what can they do to you?

It's not a big deal, but FYI, in the description you can highlight some text, then click the "Insert/Edit Link" button (near the middle of the toolbar, looks like a chain link).

When leaving a comment, the ? button left of "Write your argument" shows how to make a link, using brackets and parentheses.

These are all equally likely?

Sexist slurs. Then what?

Can you make the link clickable? I'm on my phone and this kind of sucked.

It guessed American (standard) and English for me. No surprise there. I'm not sure if the rest matters because it didn't give percentages, but it said Canadian, black and Dutch, Swedish.

There seemed to be a pretty clear answer for each question. I'm interested to see other peoples' results.

I guess not, unless the Bible is your source of morality.

Where do you draw the line? If one kind of marriage is OK, why not another?

Genesis is a lie. Common sense 1-3.

Can they ban women?

it usually does not roll over into the next fiscal year

I've usually been able to roll over at least 80 hours to the next year. I guess it varies by industry.
