I picture heaven on earth, and each person has there own mental picture of this. If eve wouldn't have ate the forbidden fruit and got Adam to eat it as we'll, we would be in a life like paradise. Were we new nothing of sin. We would all be naked and not aware that we should be considered wrong. We would live with the wild life, eating fruits and veggies from the earth. We would not eat meat at all. As god created life and in all things we would respect life of all living things. Fish would be the only living thing we would eat. We wouldn't have computers and even power. Life as we know it wouldn't be, and sin would not exist either. But we can't go back and stop eve, so we have to wait until the time comes for this heaven on earth to emerge. Most people fear this time, and some have predicted the day and time in which this would happen, and the time has come and gone a 100 times over. Because the bible says 1000 years, we'll we don't know gods time scale. Nor do I believe that there is a human out there that has discovered the truth the bible holds. You can translate Hebrew to other languages but each time you do you lose some of the real meaning of the basic truth it holds.

I also need to support what you said, as I was in a marriage that was more like a prison. I used to tell him to just hit me and get it over with because the words he spewed hurt way more than when he hit me. The pain from being hit, goes away, the pain from the words last forever.

I agree to the last part, I have kids, I smoke. But I smoke out side no matter what, and I never smoke in the car with them. I smoke but my kids don't. Growing up my mom smoked in the house and car. I hated it, the smell would wake me up. You wouldn't think I would have started smoking. I wish I had never.
Texting and driving kills people, I was envolved in a wreck because a guy was texting while driving, as for the proof, cops can right the ticket based on what they see. Then you get to provide proof at court on if you were smoking or texting while driving. I realize the law says innocent until proven guilty, but that's not how it really is. Chances are you would get a plea deal to lesser charge and walk out with a smaller fine. My family is full of cops and lawyers. I see it on both sides, so as for the cop seeing you smoke? Or text? They are trained to notice this. Putting your cig down out of view only shows cause to stop you. Cops do it all the time. Personally I feel that parents shouldn't smoke around there kids at all!! And texting is a big no no as we'll.

No matter who you are, were your at or what is going on in your life at any given time. We all have had to put faith in something. Wether it be a test at school, a job interview. Your parents. i.e just about anything we either knowingly or unknowing put faith into something working out for us. This faith could be "god" or if you feel there is no god, then your putting faith into what!"? Your self? Someone else that is envolved? I know there is a god, I pray and I have faith. Does that mean that my life is perfect and I do to make mistakes or sin? No, I make mistakes, I sin. And my life is far from perfect. But I wake up knowing that life as we live it is only as good as we make it. For those that don't believe this is your right. I support your choice. But I will always be proud to admit I believe.
Two years ago, my son was pushed down at school, I have always told my boys to stick up for your self because we can't depend on someone else to. So my son stood up and punch this kid and knocked his tooth out.. ( the tooth was already lose and was gonna come out anyways) I get a call from the school telling me that both boys were gonna have to do detention?! I was like um didn't this other boy start it and push my kid? The answer was yes. So I ask what would you have had my son do instead of defending him self?

I said "Sir" my son has told about the bullying many many times as I have as we'll. nothing was done about it. If anything he was treated worse. I told my son that if this kid bothered him ever again that he should punch him. So I will be picking my child up after school today. And it you have any problems with that then we can talk about it, but if I was you I would let this go. Because out of 4 times I have contacted you concerning my son and this other boy about being bullied, you answer was we will speak to the parents. . But nothing stopped or changed. And I didn't spank my son to teach him anything. I used time outs and a spoon full of room temp vinegar. If that didn't work I would take away something. But we are POOR and since poor people are lazy I am guessing you assumed my son punched that kid because I was lazy and broke so I spanked him at home, and this was his way of learning to deal with spoiled rich kids who never have to own up to anything.

Oregon has a law that is bans smoking in cars with minors. It is a 200 dollar fine. I am from Oregon and I now live in Ne, and I am hearing the talk of this law here as we'll. as for Enforcing it, it would be easy, I see people everyday smoking with children in the car. Either way the law wouldn't effect me, was just curious what others thought.
I agree that we should never hit out of anger, but a swat to a child who runs out in traffic may be the only thing that will show them that they will get hurt if they do it again.
Each state has different laws regarding what is abuse and want isn't. This can be a fine line, anytime a child is left with marks of any kind, or even words and be abuse, we are not here to discuss the different forms of abuse. A swat on the rear end with a open hand. There is more to this story that him being homeless and Hungary. He was drunk and possibly on drugs. By having him in custody he can get the help he needs to gain employment and get back on his feet. He needs help this is the point. And they made a choice to help him in a way that would work best for him.

I have a feeling I am gonna get bashed for this, but here it goes. But first I want to add that I am poor and I currently get every penny back on my tax return because I have two kids.
