well i guess good music has to be relaxing and has to have a positive message, I really hate those songs that make you feel depressed and that talk about drugs and sex and just all this lame stuff. I personally enjoy uplifting songs of hope and of perseverance that let you know that life might be hard but that there is still hope. Thats why i only listen to worship songs and christian music, because it talks about hope , love and life and about regaining strenght, and personally i break down whenever im having a bad day, i feel like i regain strenght and the longing to keep going

First of all i strongly believe that no religion saves, only jesus, The bible says he is the way the , truth and the life. It doesnt say, If you believe in this religion youll be saved. Why do we waste our time trying to be all religious when we dont even have a relationship with the living God, who can truly save us.

I used to be a roman catholic, but never saw change, i later met the true God and became a christian and thats when things really started to change. My life changed, i understood Gods love for me and how jesus suffered in order to save me and well right now i think ive actually found what i needed. Praise Jesus

First, is suffering necessary for knowing that we need God? I don't just mean any suffering, but is truly horrible suffering necessary to know we need God? I guess suffering is necessary because it brings us closer to God, I guess what im trying to say is that without suffering people wouldnt even consider God, because they would have everything they needed, but suffering is necessary so we can become mature and so that we learn perseverance. In the book of james i read that trials and tribulations bring perseverance and perseverance brings spiritual maturity. Without suffering, id hate to say that this world would never have looked to God, but i thank God for my sufferings, because through them ive learned alot about life and of course i came to know just how great God is.
Second, is there any kind of true human free will? Or are all of our decisions the result of how we were created, our circumstances and experiences, and the decisions of those around us(which are not their own decisions either)? Yes we all have free will, We decide wedther we go to heaven or hell, we are the ones who chose wedther we will follow God or chose to ignore him. if that werent the case, God wouldve made us robots.
Third, what are your thoughts on cruelty in the OT? Is God unjust? Why or why not? I really dont know what OT is but God isnt an unjust God, he actually gives us alot of opportunities to turn away from sin, but we chose not to listen and just like ur mom or dad discipline you whenever you disobey them, so does God discipline us when we disobey, he lets us go through pain and suffering so we can have a dose of our own selfish acts
In my point of view it is. yes we may not see God but i dont think life was just an accident, I view life as a test that we either fail or win. The consequence of failing the test, breaking the rules or just trying to cheat our way out is eternity in hell. The treasure of suffering, going through stumbles and believing without seeing but by living by faith results in eternal life in heaven, by trustong God when things seem unreasonable or like a joke we show God just how much we really want to get to be with him by paying the price which is being viewed as a weirdo and being disliked by others for his cause
The greatest challenge for me as a christian would be dying to my own self each day, temptation is everywhere and sometimes we forget to stand out, to be the light, so i guess, the greatest challenge would be being exposed to this world.But other than that i have God who helps me.
No i dont think God is harsh, see some things may seem harsh to us but when we view it in Gods perspective we start to understand the purpose behind those things
Hey razza for i wanna say thanks for standing up for what u believe in, Most people want hard evidence that will prove Gods existence, when really we ourselves are evidence that God exists. Anyways i believe in change over time like how things are improved over time, like for say how cars have been improved to work on other things other than fuel. But i disagree with the whole monkey theory, God clearly said in the book of genesis that we were created in his image, We do not have a monkey god, its so sad to see how many people have fallen for this. God is God and he makes everything the way they are supposed to be. What good is faith with the presence of evidence, why do we rely on hard evidence, God says believe and you shall see my kingdom, of course people would come to jesus with evidence in their hands, but thats our main test here on earth, God is looking for those who will believe in him without seeing him, clinging to the promise of going to heaven one day and to conclude i just have to say that we are creation and nothing can change that.
