A grown man who is a parent could watch a children's show with his daughter and because the show makes her happy the father could share her happiness and like the show and be pleased with the creators for televising something that's pleasing his daughter... And live happily ever after.

The first people like Neanderthals and such unnamed cavemen would have been very uneducated before they could form a society their 2 or 3 member family would be their only form of civilization they wouldn't have been able to understand such things between them as we understand today from the explanations of Scientist like thunder and lightning, earthquakes, hurricanes or natural human things like birth and death. So they imagined these things would occur because of a unseen spirit or a God. They scratched the stories on the cave walls of what they think was happening, people started to believe and spread the word, as time went on the stories continue and changed here and there, it gets written in a book- they read, they believe, they follow- religion formed. No I can't... Hummingbirds for example flap their wings almost 100 times per second and probably double that when flying their fastest. I can't do that with my arms, can you?
The creators of the show clearly aimed it at them but I'm sure they didn't say only little girls can watch it. Most definitely doesn't mean only a certain age group can enjoy it regardless of their gender. Otherwise when we buy TV's they should start asking what age group live in our households, if there are no little girls then you can't have the channel with shows like My Little Pony on.
