Monster is better for you than coffee. Coffee has phytic acid, an anti-nutrient which binds to various nutrients and inhibits your ability to absorb them. Monster has more caffeine which may seem like a bad thing at first glance health-wise but think about it, you only need one monster to get the effect of over 2 cups of coffee and more on top of that because it has B vitamins, inositol, glucose, L-carnitine etc. So instead of drinking multiple cups of coffee like most coffee drinkers do and thus getting more phytic acid to damage your teeth and digestive system, you can just drink one teeth-destroying thing that gives you more energy and doesn't fuck with digestion that much (it does a little bit because it's carbonated). The health concerns with monster are the same as coffee basically only to a lesser extent and you don't need to drink as much to get energized.
