This personal waterfall shows you all of TheThinker's arguments, looking across every debate.

Black is the absence of color since it absorbs all the light. No light is being reflected to your eye. We see red, because light is being reflected. But for black...no light is being reflected.

If light is considered a color...then my argument is valid. But it really boils down to opinions.

Like you can screw what everyone else says and judge color by what you see instead of something that is being reflected right back into your eye. :/

There is death but this world can still become over crowded if we take the right measures. Like if every woman in the world gave birth to a child in a consistent order, i bet we can make this world too crowded.

I don't see why people are answer no. Because the world is like a house. If it becomes too over crowded, it becomes unpleasant and bothersome.

Thank you :) But I did some research on merriam webster. Merriam webster states that to relieve pain, you are removing pain. Pain can be a problem right? So to relieve pain, you are removing a problem.

Now i found at least two different meanings for the word "cure" in merriam webster, and that is "something that ends a problem or improves a bad situation" and "the act of making someone healthy again after an illness."

Because that this, Hellnaw has a valid point if he has died and felt no pain. Or if he has other possible evidence. And i think my point isn't valid. Though it is hard for me to think that killing cancer patients isn't avoiding the problem. I guess it depends on how you look at it.

So overall, what Hellno said can be valid. Unless he brings evidence to the table that life after death brings no pain. Or some other evidence that isn't popping in my head.

Annnnnnnd, i hate to say this but, i don't think i have a valid point at all. ugh. fml. Eh, at least im honest. xD

i agree with you. By killing everybody, you are avoiding cancer. You are not curing cancer. Avoiding cancer isn't curing it.

To be honest bruh. I went to that camp and DAMN IT WAS BEAUTIFUL. It could had been beautiful because i never been around the scenery before.

A beautiful lake. Open grass. I think there were mountains. And the food was great. We had to preach about God at the end of each day and to be honest, it never hit me whyyyyy LOL. But it was so worth it because it felt being in a painting. And the food was great lol. They overcooked the steak tho :/ xD

I will bet that you would had liked the camp too. And beautiful girls were there as well. Christian girls i guess. xD

:) Thank you :) In my opinion, i don't think it is a waste of life to debate. This site can become educational :)

I do :) Ever since i went to Young Life Camp (Bible Camp in disguise on the brochure or maybe i didn't read it clearly) i did. And the camp was beyond fantastic in my opinion.

But i do and my prayers are like: "Dear God and Jesus Christ, thank you for my food, my drink, and my entertainment. And thank you for the life that goes in my food, my drink, and entertainment." My prayers can get annoying. I even add more sentences to be specific like "thank you for my fries, my coke, and my wendy williams show." lol

sometimes i give up due to the annoyance and say "thank you." :)

edit.

oh and i do the cross symbol hand thingy on my forehead and chest.

:) Actually sound travels through air. So you wouldn't here anything in a vacuum or space.

I actually disagree with you on that saying that silence is nothing. I do think silence is something and i can back that up with merriam webster. :)

A "Thing" is "a particular event, occurrence, or situation." Silence can be a particular event right? Maybe im wrong lol.

A "something" is "a person or thing that is important or worth noticing." Silence can be important :)

Also silence can be an idea formed in your mind. So it exists in your head.

Is it considered hearing if you experience true silence?

Did you say that God doesn't exist in all forms?

If yes, he does exist. He exists in people's beliefs and he exists in the bible.

God does exist. The question is if he is real. :(

lol maybe i should talk my debates with you before picking my debates titles LOL.

that is another good alternative debate question.

9/11 terror attacks come to mind. (And not because i read "middle east"). I mean NYC is massive but yet we had a fatal event occur. I see your point. I just think that we can't say that massive cities or societies aren't totally safe.

I think off duty officers are equivalent to bystanders. And i think if someone sees something wrong, he or should should at least call the police.

I think humans are responsible for the welfare for others humans. Why else do we have empathy? I believe we are programmed to help others.

But i think...i don't know. :/

please explain why you chose no? :(

I see what you mean. :) And i don't want to go that route because i want to push your mind to think. That is the main exercise.

If i loved George Washington, then that would be a simple answer "yes" to this debate. Because he may not exist in the tangible form, while yet he exists in memory or thought.

I want you to think....if you can love nothing? Is it possible to love something that does not exist. And it could pertain to you or to others. Like adults can say Italy exists. But babies who have no clue of this earth will not know if Italy exists or not. So this debate can be perceptional.

TheThinker(1697) Clarified

I agree that is a contradiction.

Well i guess the correct question is that can you love nothing?

Thanks :) I will put that in the bio.

It may be a simple no...but i believe you can...so that is why i push my thoughts. But you may be right. But still...thinking this can be kinda fun :)

Edit.

Don't forget that this debate can be perceptional. Like when you was a child at the age of 2, did you know that Afghanistan existed? So to you, Afghanistan did not exist. But this is a perceptional route.

What you said was not perceptional but agreeable. :)

I clarified the debate more. :) Do you still keep your answer?

My definition of existence isn't necessarily something that has to be real or tangible. Something can exist as a thought, memory, dream. You can draw Mr. XYZ and Mrs XYZ on a chalk board, and they would exist...on the chalkboard and from your mind from which you created them.

For your first question. You are referring to something that has died and once been real. If that something exists in your mind, then it exists. But then, you shouldn't be in the "yes" portion of this argument because you love something that exists.

Your second question....yes it can exist in imagination as which i stated in the first paragraph. :) But then...you can't answer in the "yes" portion of this argument because you love something that exists.

Your third question is really what this debate is about. You nailed the topic of this debate but try to think deep. Is it possible? Is it not possible to love something that doesn't exist.

Hmmmmm i think i need to clarify the debate title more: Can you Love something that doesn't exist in all forms: memory, thought, being alive. Thank you for that :)

Congrats Joe. :) I personally not a fan of your debates but nobody is fan of mine :/ due to disturbing "ness" LOL. However, you are a well deserved member because you had been a member since the old days. :)

Thank you for your input and welcome to create debate :) Your debates will be appreciated here :)
